Nice find for a family dinner. Service was really attentive and the food hit the spot. Bonus: they’ve got a proper kids’ menu with solid choices.

Came here on a whim and honestly the frikandellen with fries were spot on. Crispy outside, proper meat inside. Staff was friendly even though we were clearly tourists. Prices felt fair for what you got. Place was busy but we didn't wait too long. Would eat here again if I'm back in the area.

The veggie options here are solid—everything came out fresh and looked properly plated. Portion size is decent for what you pay. Service was friendly without hovering. Nothing fancy, just a straightforward spot that does the basics right. I’d go back if I’m in the area and want something light.

Small menu, but each dish was solid. Prices lean high, though the service made up for it. Attentive without hovering. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Decent spot for a business lunch. The space has been renovated and looks quite nice. Service was professional without being overbearing. Lunch menu is reasonably priced for what you get. Food was pretty good - nothing groundbreaking, but it did the job. Maybe slightly busy around noon, but overall a fine choice.

Dessert menu was solid and the wine list had some good picks. Service kept things moving, no complaints there. Portions felt a bit small for what you pay, though.

Stopped by for dinner, place was packed but the staff handled it well. Got the classic Italian stuff, pasta was decent. Nothing crazy but solid. Maybe a bit loud for my taste, but that's on me for coming at peak hour. Fine for a casual bite.

The truffle pizza was really good, and the ham starter too. Staff were friendly and let us take our time. It gets busy though, so book a table first.

Solid burger spot. Fries were crispy, staff was friendly. Build-your-own option is a nice touch. Garden out back is a bonus if the weather holds up.

The venison was really good, and the chef even sent out a little surprise plate. Felt like a proper hidden spot in Schaffhausen. Just wish the lighting was a bit warmer, felt a little stark.

The place has a nice vibe, not too stiff but still feels polished. I had the grilled fish, it came out looking really pretty on the plate. Taste was solid, though I wished the portion was a bit bigger for the price. Service was attentive without hovering. Fine for a casual dinner if you're in the area.

Risotto was decent, pasta cooked right. Only place open at 3 pm, which saved me. Cozy enough inside. Service was fine, nothing special.

The venison was cooked properly, sauce had real depth. Terrace is nice but honestly I just focused on the plate. Price is fair for what you get in Schaffhausen.

The garden terrace really is the spot when the weather cooperates—plenty of room and you can actually hear yourself think. Service lagged a bit on a busy Saturday, though the staff stayed cheerful about it. I had the spring rolls, which were solid but honestly a touch small for what they charge. A crisp white would've paired nicely with them, but their wine list is decent enough. I'd come back for the terrace alone.

The trout was fresh and well-seasoned, potatoes and salad on the side were tasty. Pricey, but fair for the quality.

Decent Irish pub for catching a match. Plenty of screens so you won't miss anything. Food's pretty good bar fare, staff friendly. Gets crowded on game days, but that's part of the vibe.

We came here for a proper dinner, not a quick bite. The risotto was cooked right, creamy but not heavy. Vitello tonnato also did the job. Place was packed, so booking ahead is the only way. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Just a bit loud for my taste, but that's on us for going on a Friday.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and slice of Black Forest cake. Place was busy but the line moved fast. Cake was fresh, not too sweet. Good spot if you need a sugar fix and don't want to wait around. Prices are okay for what you get.

The flat white was solid. Proper temperature, decent crema, no burnt aftertaste. That's basically all I need from a coffee place. Kids were at the playground nearby, so I just grabbed a cup and sat outside. It did the job. Maybe not the most exciting beans in town, but consistent. Fine for what it is.

The lunch menu is small but solid. Salmon timbale and entrecôte were both good. Service felt a bit stiff, but the champagne and Gutedel made up for it. Quick enough for a midday stop.

The Black Forest cake was good, coffee too. But honestly, the service is slow when it's busy. Had to wait a while just to get the bill. Portion sizes are decent for the price though.

Stumbled into this place on a whim and honestly, the pasta was the highlight. Fresh, simple, and actually tasted like Italy. Wine pairing was spot on too. Place gets a bit busy, so don't expect a quiet dinner, but that's part of the charm. Definitely coming back for the truffle tagliatelle.

The burgers are solid—juicy, well-seasoned, and they’ve got some creative combos. I went with the gluten-free bun, which held up better than expected. Sweet potato fries were crispy, not soggy. Place was busy but service stayed efficient. Good spot if you’re nearby and want a proper burger without the fuss.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the vegan döner. Pretty solid, not gonna lie. You can tell they use decent stuff, not the usual greasy mess you get elsewhere. Place was busy but I got my food fast enough. Only thing is it's a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back when I'm in the area.

The English menu is a lifesaver when your German is still basic. Staff were patient and made ordering easy. Been here a few times now, always a solid experience.

The view from up here is something else—whole city spread out below while you eat. Food came out tasty and portions were solid for the price. I had a glass of their house red with the grilled fish, decent enough pairing. Place gets busy around sunset though, so grab a spot early if you can.

The pastries are around 3 euros, which feels fair for the city center. I also liked that they sell their coffee beans—nice touch for home brewing.
