Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Schnitzel was solid, properly breaded and not greasy. Portion size fair for the price. Service efficient without hovering. Terrace was calm, no traffic noise. Renovation looks fresh, tables spaced well. Good spot if you're in the area and want reliable German food. Would come back when nearby.

The grilled octopus was really good—crispy on the outside, tender inside. The dolmadakia tasted homemade too, like something a Greek grandmother would make. I appreciated that the service was friendly without hovering. Only small thing: the tables are a bit close together, so it felt a little cramped. But overall a pleasant, easy dinner.

Cozy little stube with great Rothaus beer 🍺 Service got a bit slow when it filled up, but perfect for hanging out with friends.

The pizza was solid — thin, crispy crust, fresh toppings. Bruschetta was good too. Prices run a bit high, but you can tell the ingredients are decent.

The food was really good—flavors were balanced, not too heavy. We even took a slice of cake home and it held up nicely. Service stayed attentive even with the rain coming down outside. Only thing: the place got a bit loud as it filled up. Still, solid stop if you're in the area.

We had a decent dinner here. The garden is really the main draw—nice spot to sit with a glass of wine. Food was pretty good, nothing mind-blowing but solid. Service was fine, professional without being overly attentive. I'd come back for the atmosphere, maybe just for drinks next time.

Cozy little place in the old town ☕ the Gipfel pastry was so good, definitely the highlight. Would be perfect for catching up with friends over coffee.

Came back after a year. Rice was a bit hard this time. Not sure if it's just an off day. Might give it another go. Place wasn't too busy though.

The schnitzel was solid, cooked well, not greasy. Staff were friendly enough, but the service felt a bit chaotic when it got busy. Took a while to get the bill. Place has a decent vibe for a casual dinner. Fine if you're in the area and don't mind waiting a bit.

Stopped here for a quick coffee before catching the tram. Flat white was solid, not too bitter. Tried the vegan snack too—pretty decent, though the portion was a bit small. Place is tiny, but that's fine for a grab-and-go. Staff didn't rush me, which I appreciated. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Tried the currywurst here after seeing the good reviews. Sausage was properly seasoned, sauce had that nice kick. The meal deal with fries and drink is decent for the price. Only downside is seating - basically nowhere to sit, so it's really a takeaway kind of place. Fine if you're in a hurry though.

Been coming here for a while now, and the house-made lemonade is still the reason I stop by. Always fresh, not too sweet. Place has that laid-back local vibe, easy to just sit and chill. Service is fine, nothing fancy, but you don't need it here. Just a solid spot for a quiet afternoon.

Nice little spot for a quick bite. The salads were actually fresh, not sad and wilted like most places. Staff friendly too. Solid find if you're in the area.

The homemade tofu and lime drink were pretty good. Lunch specials are decent, though the garden seating felt a bit cramped.

Been coming here for a while now, and the appetizer platter for one is still my go-to. Plenty to share, honestly. Mains are solid, big portions. Service was quick and friendly again. Only thing is it gets a bit busy on weekends, but that's probably a good sign.

Coffee was solid, and the vegan cake really hit the spot. Cozy enough to sit for a bit, though it got a little busy mid-morning.

The ice cream was really good—rich and creamy, not too sweet. Place is tiny though, and when it got busy the staff seemed a bit stressed. We grabbed our cones and left pretty quickly. Fine for a quick stop, just don't expect to hang around.

Solid vegan spot. Big portions, the plant-based stuff actually has flavor. Nice setting too. Not fancy, but does the job. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We sat down for a family thing and honestly the chairs were so comfortable we didn’t wanna leave. The owner came by a few times, made sure everything was alright. Food was good too, the à la carte menu had some nice options. Place felt relaxed, not too loud. Maybe a bit slow between courses but we weren’t in a rush anyway.

The staff remembered my usual order. That kind of consistency keeps me loyal. Service was quick even during the lunch rush.

Decent spot for a casual dinner. Food was solid and prices fair. Service polite, nothing exceptional but no complaints either.

Stopped by for a coffee and a slice of cheesecake. The place has a nice vibe, really relaxed. Coffee was good, fresh juices looked popular too. Cheesecake was a bit dry for my taste, but I'd come back for the coffee alone. Service was friendly, no complaints there.

The samosas were super crispy and the filling was really flavorful. We ordered them to share and the staff actually served them individually, which was a nice touch for our group. Presentation looked pretty too. Good spot if you're out with friends and want something easy. Maybe a bit quiet for a Saturday night, but that's fine.

The pizza was solid, proper Italian style with a crispy crust. Gluten-free options actually taste good here, not just an afterthought.

Fresh fish, decent variety of rolls. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Solid spot for a quick sushi fix in Freiburg.
