Been coming here for a while now, and the house-made lemonade is still the reason I stop by. Always fresh, not too sweet. Place has that laid-back local vibe, easy to just sit and chill. Service is fine, nothing fancy, but you don't need it here. Just a solid spot for a quiet afternoon.

Coffee was solid, prices fair. Place is small and fills up fast, so you might not get a seat right away. Fine for a quick stop if you're in the area.

The pasta with pear and ricotta was really good—freshly made and full of flavor. Honestly a 10/10 for me. I sat near the window and the chair was comfortable enough to stay a bit longer after eating. Just wish the portion had been slightly bigger, but for the price it felt fair. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The Black Forest cake here is really something else. Probably one of the best I’ve had, no joke. Owner even showed us how to carry it without messing it up, which was handy since I was worried about the drive back. Cake stayed intact, tasted even better the next day. Just wish the slices were a bit bigger for the price.

The caprese sandwich hit the spot—fresh mozzarella and tomato on good bread. A glass of crisp white would've paired perfectly with it, though. Nice little spot for a quick bite.

The risotto was spot on again—creamy, properly al dente, just like last time. I’ve been here a few times now and that dish never misses. Wine list is solid too, something for everyone. It’s tucked away on that little old-town square, which makes it easy to find a table even on busy evenings. Service stayed friendly without hovering. Only thing: it gets a bit loud when full, but I keep coming back anyway.

Been coming here for a while now. The terrace is still the main reason I keep showing up—good view of the main street, perfect for a quick drink. We only grabbed a bite this time, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was fine, no complaints. Solid spot if you're nearby.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the staff kept everything topped up nicely. Felt well looked after without being hovered over. A solid start to the day.

We stopped by during the Christmas holidays and the place was all decorated, really cozy with that fancy touch. Service was on point, and the cakes were just divine. Definitely a nice spot if you're in the area, though it did get a bit busy. Still, worth the trip.

Been coming here for a while now, breakfast is always solid. Eggs Benedict and a cappuccino this time, same as usual. Staff's friendly, never had a problem with the order. It's just a reliable spot, you know? Not much else to say.

The tiramisu here is seriously good—light, creamy, not too sweet. I came for a drink and ended up staying for dessert. Service was quick and friendly, which I appreciated. Prices felt fair for the area, especially for the quality. Wouldn’t mind going back just for that dessert again.

Had the Easter menu here and honestly the dessert was the highlight. Parking right by the door is super convenient, just pull up and walk in. Place was pretty quiet when I went, easy to grab a seat. Not a bad spot if you're in the area and want something sweet without the hassle.

The goat cheese Flammkuchen was a bit too sweet for me, but the classic one with bacon hit the spot. Cappuccino was solid too. Quick lunch, no complaints.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. The open kitchen gives the place a bit of life, but honestly it gets loud when it fills up. Sat outside — decent option, and the park across the street helps if you're waiting. Food was fine, nothing crazy. Service was quick enough. Fair for the price, though I wouldn't call it a destination spot.

Came here for lunch, the dumplings with salad were pretty good. Reminded me a bit of Kaspressknödel from back home. Location is nice, easy to find. Service was quick, no complaints there. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price, but overall a decent stop.

Stopped by for a coffee and a pastry. Place is half café, half general store — you can grab local honey or a notebook while you wait. Family-run, you can feel the history. Pastry was solid, coffee did the job. Not a tourist trap, just a real neighborhood spot.

Found this place on my second day in Freiburg and honestly the cappuccino was so smooth, like finally a proper coffee here 😅. The vibe is pretty social, easy to chat with people around. Service was quick too. Only downside, not much seating, so we kinda squeezed in. Still, good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Came for the schnitzel. Crispy, decent size, beer was cold. That's basically it. Sat outside by the river, nice enough. Service didn't make me wait long. Fine for a quick lunch if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and the strawberry crème brûlée cake. Light, not too sweet, exactly what I needed. Staff pointed me to it, good call. Place was calm for a weekday afternoon. Service was fast enough for a lunch break. Would grab it again if I'm in the area.

Solid schnitzel and game dishes, portions were generous. Service handled our big group without missing a beat. Prices felt fair for what you got.
