Been coming here for a while now. Kitchen still handles off-menu requests without fuss, which keeps me coming back. Service is better than most places in Germany, honestly.

Solid Thai place. Menu has clear spice level markers, saves time when ordering. Service was quick, portions decent for the price. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

Stopped by for lunch and honestly the burrata pizza was the highlight. Fresh, simple, exactly what I needed. Bruschetta was solid too. Place felt authentic, like someone’s nonna was actually back there. No complaints, just good food. Would eat here again if I’m in the area.

Nice little spot with a lovely terrace. Had a beer and a proper meal, both were fine. Staff friendly without being pushy. Decent place to stop by.

Nice beer garden, plenty of shade even when it's hot. Got there before the rush, so no wait. Inside looks roomy too. Solid spot for a quick pint.

Cash only — that almost got us at the end. Luckily I had enough on me, but definitely come prepared. The food itself was solid though, and the place had a nice buzz to it. Just wish they’d put up a sign or something before you sit down. Would’ve saved us the awkward moment at the register.

The portions are really generous for the price, that's for sure. We sat outside under the trees, which was lovely on a sunny afternoon. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us at all. Just a heads up, it can get a bit busy around noon, but it's worth it. I'd come back again.

We stopped by for dinner on a rainy evening. The dining room is really cozy, that warm country inn feel. I had the roasted vegetable plate, just wished there were a bit more greens on it. Ingredients tasted fresh, simple and clean. Prices are fair for the quality. Staff let us take our time, no rush at all. 🌿

Decent spot for German food, prices are fair. We showed up around 10pm and it was still pretty busy. Staff were friendly enough. Had a few different dishes, all solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but it did the job. Fine if you're in the area and want something straightforward.

Great spot for a beer with a view. Self-service and you can take the lift up. Food was meh but who cares when the sunset looks like that. Cold beer did the job.

The spaghetti di mare hit the spot—al dente, loaded with seafood. Washed it down with a decent glass of white wine. Bruschetta was solid too. Pizza's not the most authentic, but the crust was crispy enough.

Pizza was solid. Crust crispy, toppings fresh, one of the better ones I've had in Freiburg. Price matched the quality, no complaints there. Service was efficient, got in and out during lunch without waiting long. If you're in the area and want a decent pie without the fuss, this works.

We popped in for a quick dinner and honestly, the schnitzel was the star. Huge portion, crispy, exactly what I needed after a long day. The place has that proper old-school vibe, nothing fancy but cozy. Staff were super nice even though my German is basically non-existent. Only thing, it got a bit loud later. Still, solid spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Nice little Biergarten, green and pretty quiet. Food was solid, nothing crazy but good enough. Spent a few hours there without even noticing. Parking's a bit of a pain though, had to circle around. Wouldn't mind coming back on a sunny day.

Fresh food and fair prices for being right in the city center. The vegetarian options were a nice surprise, and the staff actually knew their menu. Had a decent glass of wine with it, nothing fancy but paired well enough.

The menu changes every two weeks depending on what’s local, which I really appreciate. Portions are pretty small though—we ordered three dishes and still left a bit hungry. Tasting menu’s probably the smarter move if you’ve got a bigger appetite. Good spot for a lighter dinner, just don’t come starving.

Been coming here for a while now. The ajiaco is still as good as the first time I tried it. Service stays friendly too, even when they're busy.

The brunch spread is solid for what you pay. Lots of options and everything tasted fresh. Good spot if you want a filling meal without breaking the bank.

Pork steaks in mushroom sauce were a solid pick — big plate, decent price. Surprised to find Magners on tap here, that was a nice bonus.

Food's decent, no complaints there. But honestly, the portions felt a bit small for what we paid. I get that places have to raise prices, but I left still a little hungry. It's a solid spot if you're not starving, but I'd probably grab a snack before coming. Good for a quick bite, not for a big appetite.

Food's solid and portions are generous. Gets crowded around dinner, so expect a short wait. Worth it for the taste though.

Silvija’s recommendations were spot on, and the cocktails really stood out. Fresh ingredients, nicely balanced. The room got a bit loud later, but still a pleasant spot.

Nice garden with good shade. Service was friendly, food pretty good too. Prices a bit steep for what you get, but fine for a one-off visit.

Nice relaxed spot with good beer and a solid döner for the price. Got busy, so we waited a bit—but worth it. 🍺

Nice sunny terrace, and the service was quick. Pizza came out fast, which I always appreciate. Had a glass of their house red with it—nothing fancy, but it did the job. Solid spot if you just want a relaxed outdoor meal without overthinking it. Maybe not the most memorable pizza in town, but fine for what it is.

we were there yesterday at a wedding with around 140 guests. The food was delicious but pricy. The menu was Vitello Tonnato.with Antipasti (photo 2), Veal steak with vegetables and potato’s (photo 3)The building is right at the Rhine river and the view is great!

Decent Italian place, family-run vibe. We had the bruschetta and caprese salad, both fresh enough. The Jagerschnitzle was pretty good, portion was generous. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a casual dinner. Maybe slightly busy when we were there, but fine overall.

The entrecôte was cooked really well, exactly how I asked. Just wish the extra sauces didn’t cost extra, that felt a bit cheap.

The wagyu was really good, properly cooked and full of flavour. Nice spot right by the main square, easy to find. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, the chairs felt a little hard after a while. But the food itself made up for it.
