This restaurant offers a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service, making it a perfect spot for a memorable dining experience.

The view from the top is something else, really takes in the whole city. We had the tasting menu, dishes were inventive and pretty tasty. Only thing, the pacing between courses dragged a bit. Took us almost three hours. But for a nice dinner out, it's a solid pick.

Been stopping by this place every time we're on Ameland. Food's solid, plates come out full, and the vibe stays relaxed. Had a glass of their house red with the catch of the day—decent pour, nothing fancy but it did the job. Service was a bit slow mid-week but we weren't in a rush. Fine for a holiday evening.

The veggie dishes were the highlight — pretty creative stuff. Nice view over the greenery too. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

The vegetarian dishes were pretty good — nicely plated and not the usual boring options. Staff knew the menu well, which helped. We had a decent evening overall. Just found the place a bit loud by the end, but that’s minor. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area.

We were there for a birthday celebration. The staff was very friendly and professional. Wonderful service and food! We had a wonderful welcome fitting the occassion. We will be back again for sure!

Stopped by for dinner on a work trip. Got the steak, cooked exactly as asked. Portion was decent for the price. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Place was busy but not chaotic. Solid option if you're in the area and want a no-fuss meal.

Kids menu saved us, service was quick and friendly. Food hit the spot, nothing fancy but solid. Place was clean too, which always helps with little ones around.

We stopped by for lunch after a walk around the harbor. The Wadden Sea oysters were the highlight for me—fresh, briny, exactly what I wanted. Mussels were solid too. Wine list surprised me, good picks without crazy prices. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busy. Nice classic spot in Hindeloopen.

Decent spot to stop when you're out on the water in Friesland. View is really nice, calm enough to just sit for a bit. Food was fine, nothing fancy, but it did the job. Maybe a little busy around midday, but that's fair enough for the location. Pretty good overall for a quick break.

Right at the ferry terminal, super handy. Fish and chips were solid, though the salad was pretty plain. Bit pricey for the portion size.

Great service, child friendly, and very helpful with celiac's disease (gluten allergy) and seafood allergy. Order the add-on vegetables & mini potatoes. Delicious!

Came here with a few friends, no reservation, and they sorted us out pretty quick. Food came fast too — salads, some drinks, brownies after. All decent. Not sure what the negative reviews are about, honestly.

Went back two days later because the first time stuck with me. The place has this unpolished warmth, like nobody’s trying too hard. Food hit the spot again, maybe even better. Just a quiet, easy vibe that made me want to stay longer. No fuss, no noise. That’s rare for me.

Loved the local beer and the Ameland product board here. Super cozy inside, felt like a proper little local spot. Would be great for a relaxed catch-up with friends. 🍺

The pink G&T was lovely and the place looks really cool inside. Mustard soup surprised me, definitely worth ordering. Just wish they had a bit more space between tables.

Nice little place on a quiet street. Coffee was solid, had a sandwich on the mini-terrace in the afternoon sun. Good spot to just sit for a bit. Nothing fancy but it worked.

The food was solid and the place looks really nice inside. We did have to ask twice for our coffee though, which was a bit annoying. They did take it off the bill without us making a fuss about it, so that was decent of them. Staff were friendly enough.

We discovered this restaurant by accident, while walking around the waterfront. A very beautiful location, and the food and wine were excellent. For our taste, there was a bit too much time between courses, but there are virtues in slow dining!

This food is lovely and made with care and love. The surprise menu is a feast for the mouth and eye. The service is friendly and personal. The restaurant is small but still enough room between the tables, so one does not feel like sitting in a small restaurant. I asked whether they had a Michelin star. They did not and said they prefer it as it is. That they give all the attention to the guests and have the freedom to experiment. I certainly go back there

Coffee’s fine but honestly overpriced for the size. Tried the hazelnut syrup and barely noticed it. Still, staying open late is a win if you’re out at night.

The steak was cooked properly and the beer was ice cold. Portion size is decent for what you pay, I left full. Tiramisu was a bit dry but I didn't really care at that point. Just stick to the meat dishes and you're fine.

The meal was lovely and so was the atmosphere. I feel it was a little expensive for the type of food that it was. I would have expected a wider variety of sides rather than just chips and salad with everything for the price they were charging.

The food was superb and the staff were super friendly and helpful - great experience for our Canadian/Scottish group! Will definitely visit again.

The food was so good. We had pizza and a smoothie. The pizza was perfect! Not fat at all and very crispy! We loved it! The smoothie was also delicious! (definitely recommend) The service was good. They only were in a bit of a rush. Nevertheless they were oriented on the costumers. We definitely are going to eat at this place again!

Simply wonderful, calm staff. Great quality food. Good acoustic space to have a nice talk. About twelfth time that we've came to this restaurant in about six years.

We came here with the kids last Saturday. Menu’s got plenty of options, which is nice. We ordered a bunch of stuff to share—all came out fresh, no complaints. Place was busy but we still got a table quick. Only thing is it got a bit loud inside, but that’s fine for a family spot. Would go back if we’re in the area again.

Kibbeling was proper. Crispy outside, not oily at all. Real plates too, not paper stuff. Crew friendly enough. Solid spot if you're around.

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The staff actually remember you, which is rare. Food's solid too - that schnitzel was spot on. Place feels well cared for, not tired like some older spots.
