I had a wonderful experience dining on the terrace. The service was excellent, and the food was top-notch, especially the spareribs!

We have eaten at the restaurant (De Tippe) many times in the past. Our experiences there have been somewhat mixed, from disappointing to wholly enjoyable. This time was good but not exceptional. We were seated immediately but waited li ger than expected for a menu and drunk orders. The website for De Tippe showed a menu in english (not merely a translation) but a physical menu in English was not available in the restaurant (we had an english-speaking only guest with us). All elements of the meal were well presented and tasty but our pork schnitzel (we all ordered it) was tough to chew and should have been more tender.

Beds were comfy, which mattered most after a long day. Room felt a bit dated, but for what we paid, it was decent value.

Lovely terrace for a sunny afternoon. Had the grilled chicken, it was juicy and well-seasoned. Service was a bit slow but friendly enough. Would sit outside again.

The vegetarian pizza was pretty good, decent crust. Parking's easy which is a plus. Just a heads up, it gets loud when the place fills up. Fine if you're nearby.

The first stop on our food tour and honestly it set the bar pretty high. The sommelier knew exactly what to pour with each course. That first dish alone was worth the walk over. Wish we'd had more time to just sit and linger over the wine list.

The terrace is really nice for a quick stop. I had the mushroom soup with bread and it was honestly the highlight—creamy but not too heavy. My partner got the smash burger and it was a proper double, messy in the best way. Inside is cozy too. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but fine for a casual bite.

Ordered the barbecued beef medium and it came exactly as asked. Sides were a nice mix too. Portion felt right, and the place had a good vibe.

The waffles were good, but honestly the service stood out—they brought everything to us across the street.

The margherita here is spot on. Thin, crispy crust, decent amount of toppings, not too greasy. I’ve had it a few times now and it’s been consistent each time. That’s pretty much all I need from a pizza place. Solid if you’re nearby and just want a proper pie.

The lighting is warm without trying too hard, and the food matches that vibe. Had the grilled fish—simple but cooked properly. Service was friendly, no one hovering or rushing you out. Just a relaxed spot to sit and eat. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but I didn’t mind.

The Christmas buffet was decent, lots of choice from fish to game. They handled the vegans well. Dessert spread was a nice touch.

Food was solid and the terrace really made it for me. Staff friendly enough. Just wish the service was a bit quicker.

Had my birthday dinner here and honestly the four courses were put together really nicely. They explained every dish when it came out, which I always appreciate. It's not cheap though, so don't come expecting a casual bite. I left full and satisfied, but my wallet felt it a bit 😅

We went for the four-course dinner and honestly, the price felt fair for what you get. My steak was cooked properly, and the dessert was a nice finish. The room is tiny, like maybe 8 tables, but that makes it feel private. Service was there when we needed them, not hovering. Only small thing, the bread came a bit late. Still, a good quiet spot.

Friendly spot with a proper Dutch vibe. Food was decent for what we paid, though they skimped a bit on the bread. Their house red worked fine with the bitterballen though.

Great value for the quality of food offered. The lunch menu has plenty of options and everything we tried was delightful.

Four different menus, all of them solid. My wine pairing worked well with the ribeye.
