The steak was cooked properly and the beer was ice cold. Portion size is decent for what you pay, I left full. Tiramisu was a bit dry but I didn't really care at that point. Just stick to the meat dishes and you're fine.

The meal was lovely and so was the atmosphere. I feel it was a little expensive for the type of food that it was. I would have expected a wider variety of sides rather than just chips and salad with everything for the price they were charging.

The food was superb and the staff were super friendly and helpful - great experience for our Canadian/Scottish group! Will definitely visit again.

Lovely atmosphere / decor / settings - very friendly and experienced staff to support and explained dishes + efficient service - great discovery

The food was so good. We had pizza and a smoothie. The pizza was perfect! Not fat at all and very crispy! We loved it! The smoothie was also delicious! (definitely recommend) The service was good. They only were in a bit of a rush. Nevertheless they were oriented on the costumers. We definitely are going to eat at this place again!

We had a wonderful meal, full of amazing flavors! Our waitress was fantastic she explained everything, gave great tips, and guided us through the whole experience. The food was delicious, made with regional ingredients, perfectly balanced and full of taste. It’s a great restaurant to enjoy and share. perfect to discover and share. And the city? Absolutely beautiful. Thank you!

Simply wonderful, calm staff. Great quality food. Good acoustic space to have a nice talk. About twelfth time that we've came to this restaurant in about six years.

We came here with the kids last Saturday. Menu’s got plenty of options, which is nice. We ordered a bunch of stuff to share—all came out fresh, no complaints. Place was busy but we still got a table quick. Only thing is it got a bit loud inside, but that’s fine for a family spot. Would go back if we’re in the area again.

The butter chicken here caught me off guard—actually better than the burgers, and that’s saying something. Burgers are solid too, well put together. Place isn’t fancy but it doesn’t need to be. Just a good spot for a quick bite.

Kibbeling was proper. Crispy outside, not oily at all. Real plates too, not paper stuff. Crew friendly enough. Solid spot if you're around.

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The staff actually remember you, which is rare. Food's solid too - that schnitzel was spot on. Place feels well cared for, not tired like some older spots.

Service was friendly, kids got treated really well. Pancakes were decent, toppings a bit hit or miss though. Fine for a casual stop, nothing crazy.

Been coming here for a while now. Portions are still huge, burrito easily feeds me twice. Consistent quality, that's why I keep going back.

The set menu hit the spot after our visit. Mustard soup and schnitzel were both tasty, and the place feels properly cozy. €30 for that quality and amount is fair.

The chef's menu kept surprising me course after course. That red wine pairing was spot on. Service stayed friendly even when the place got busy.

Stopped by on our way through town. The braised beef was properly tender, and the wild game had real flavour. French toast made with Frisian sugar bread for dessert — that was the standout. Staff were friendly enough, nothing over the top. Place was busy but fine. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Had dinner here with a couple of friends last week. The staff actually remembered my allergy without me repeating it three times, which honestly never happens. Wine pairing was fun too, the guy clearly loves what he does. Only thing, it got a bit loud later in the evening so we couldn't hear each other that well. Still, good spot for a catch-up 😊

The interior is really charming, those coffee grinders on the wall are a nice touch. Green beans with bacon surprised me, actually tasty. Service was thoughtful when something went wrong, they handled it well. Fair prices too.

Stopped by for dinner during a short stay in Ameland. Portions are solid, pasta was fresh. Took the three-course share menu, vegetarian version—decent variety for the price. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Place gets busy around 7, so come earlier if you want a quiet table. Would go again.

Two pizzas, a salad, and drinks ran us about €45. Fair enough for the quality. Quick service too, got in and out without wasting time.

Been here a few times now, and that beef stew (Oma Henny's) keeps me coming back. Staff are friendly too, even when it's not busy. Solid spot.

The right place for a delicious Asian Sate in a great environment! Top. Worthwhile a second try to visit this establishment in Leeuwarden. Sweet memories from our longterm stay in Asia.

The apple pie here is really good — flaky crust, not too sweet. Terrace looks out over the boats, which is nice. Service was friendly too.

The lemongrass chicken banh mi was solid, though the bread needed more crunch. Portion size was decent for the price. That's about it.

Came here twice while we were in town. First time was good enough to go back. I had the grilled chicken salad — greens were actually fresh, not wilted like you get in a lot of places. Dressing on the side, which I appreciate. Portion was big, maybe too big for lunch honestly. Just wish they had more veggie options on the menu.

The owner took the time to explain the menu, which I appreciated. Food was fresh and tasty. Only thing is, service moves at its own pace since he's doing everything solo. I didn't mind much, just sat back and relaxed. Cozy place to unwind.

Delicious! We had to wait a bit longer than expected but well worth the wait.

Decent burger after a long bike ride. Meat was cooked well, bun held up fine. Staff didn't mind us switching tables a couple of times, which was nice. Pretty good spot if you're in the area and want something simple. Just wish the fries were a bit hotter.
