The vibe is so cozy here, right by the station. I love the warm wooden counter for solo dinners. It just feels right. The grilled chicken skewers were simple but hit the spot. A little smoky, perfect with a cold beer.

Parking behind the shop is convenient. They only let one group in at a time, so there can be a bit of a wait.

The private outdoor bath was the best part. You can adjust the temperature, and the view of the little garden pond is so peaceful. Just sat there for ages.

A lovely little spot run by a couple. You can really feel their care in the small things, like the handmade ceramic plates and the simple seasonal flowers on each table. It's a nice touch.

The interior is so clean and bright, even when it's packed.

The shrimp tempura was nice, plump and crispy. The tartar sauce had a good tang. But honestly, after trying it, I still think you have to get the miso katsu. That one just hits different.

Just a short walk from Fukui Station's east side. The large parking lot is a huge plus. Tried their local sake flight—really complemented the grilled fish. A solid spot if you're driving in.

The holiday set fries were the best part. So crispy outside, fluffy inside. The burger's pickled radish was okay, not too strong. Just a solid lunch.

The breakfast and coffee here are really solid, especially for a station-side spot. The service was quick and friendly too.

The sashimi bowl next to Fukui Station was just what I needed. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, like it was just prepared. A perfect, healthy choice for a quick meal before catching my train. The rice was warm and the portion felt just right.

The soba's firm texture was great. Had it with a glass of chilled sake, a nice pairing for a filling lunch.

The pork cutlet was thin and crispy, just how I like it. But the real winner was the portion size. Got a huge mound of rice with the meal, which really makes the price feel justified. Left feeling very full.

The omakase was solid, and the local sake pairings were a nice touch. Chef's choices really let the seasonal stuff shine.

Booking was thorough, they asked about our kid's age. That made the evening run smoothly. Food was good, service attentive without being overbearing. A solid choice for a family dinner.

The tempura bowl is always crispy. Been coming back for years.

The grated radish soba is a solid choice. The broth is light and the noodles have a nice firmness. The daikon adds a decent spicy kick, though I wish there was a bit more of it. A pretty satisfying bowl overall.

Sushi plates from 300 yen. Quality is solid for the price. Good appetizer choices too. Casual counter seating only.

A five-minute walk from Fukui Station. The charcoal grills are impressive—you can really taste that smoky flavor in the chicken. Good ventilation too, didn't leave smelling like smoke. The tsukune was juicy and well-seasoned. A solid spot for yakitori.

Tried their small sea bream pickled rice in hitsumabushi style. Enjoyed it three ways, the umami was deep and not cloying. Paired it with a local sake that cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice for a relaxed dinner.

Loved the food here! Came with a few friends and we shared a bunch of small plates. The grilled octopus was so tender, and the truffle fries were a hit. Perfect for catching up over good bites.

Parking is a small fee but they give you a discount coupon when you dine in, so it basically ends up free. Super handy for meeting up with friends who drive!
