The butter waffle was pretty good, especially with the ice cream. The chocolate almond one was decent too. A nice little treat. The place was a bit crowded though.

The atmosphere in this restaurant, which was beautifully renovated from a rice storehouse, is truly charming. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely meal with friends or family.

Found on Tabelog, Michelin listed. Food is cooked fresh, so you gotta wait a bit. Not the fastest for a quick lunch, but the quality is solid. Good for when you have a little more time.

Been coming here for years, and the set menu is the reason. Always get the 7 skewers with 2 starters. Price hasn't changed much, which is nice. You know what you're getting, and it's always solid.

The Murasuzume set is a good choice for a break. Simple and traditional, just what you need after walking around the historic area.

The Margherita here is just 950¥, which is a steal for a place with a Michelin mention. The cheese was spot on, and the sauce had a really nice depth of flavor.

Good selection of Thai beers and cocktails. Pairs well with the food.

Nice spot to rest after the Ohara Museum. I like the historical connection, feels authentic. The coffee is decent, not too strong. A bit pricey for what you get, but the location is convenient.

The vegetable biryani was the star. Basmati rice was perfectly cooked, and the spice aroma was just right.

Nice little spot. The curry was pretty good, had a decent freshness from the tomato and onion. The decor is cool with all the plants and records. A bit on the pricey side for what you get, but the vibe is solid.

The pizza here really is Neapolitan-style, thin and with that perfect char. What stood out for me was the comfortable seating—the chairs had good back support, which made a long, relaxed dinner possible. A nice spot for a quiet meal.

Came for the old-school vibe and stayed for the chicken kara-age. It was so juicy and full of flavor, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening in Kurashiki. A really solid, comforting meal.

The Kurashiki 'Kiseki no Sake' junmai ginjo was a nice pairing with the yakitori. Good local selection.

The potato salad was the star for me. Creamy, with a nice little crunch from the pickles. I'd come back just for that. The cheese rolls were good too, but the salad was something special.

Came here on a whim. The aged pufferfish was interesting, a bit chewy but unique. Seared tuna was fine. They say the stuff is from all over Japan, which is cool I guess. Not a bad spot.

The kamatama udon was a first for me. The clear broth had a really deep, savory flavor from the dried sardines. Breaking the egg into it was the best part.

The 3-minute hourglass for grilling oysters is a great idea. Makes it easy to get them just right.

Booked for opening time and it was already buzzing. Cozy vibe, very relaxed. Definitely a local favorite, so glad we reserved ahead.

The vinegar drink at the drink bar was interesting. A bit too sharp for me, but it's different.

I had the chef's recommended course, and the lobster dish was a standout! The service was friendly and made the evening even more special.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. The tempura rice bowl was solid, crispy shrimp and all. Plum wine was nice too. Music and lights were chill. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but not bad.

The yam soba was good, the noodles had a nice texture. But the portion felt a bit small for the price. I left still feeling a little hungry, which was a shame.

Been coming here for years. The lunch plate is always limited, but that's part of the charm. It's consistently good, simple, and well-presented. Just a reliable spot for a quiet midday bite.

Great for a quick bite. The staff is really friendly and they even brought a sharing plate without us asking.

Quick and friendly service. They kept us updated on the wait, which was nice.
