The grilled octopus was fresh and tender, not rubbery at all. Prices felt fair for the quality. A nice spot if you're craving seafood away from the tourist crowds.

Great place. Food quality 👌 tasty authentic friendly waiters nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and hopefully return. 👍

Have walked past the restaurant many times during our visits , it was just suprisingly good and so close to the Palms .Pricing represented excellent value for money.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Portuguese food. The waitress was very kind and attentive, and the dishes were fresh and flavorful, making it a great choice for lunch or dinner.

good choice of menu and very tasty food. surprisingly good dessert menu - bananas with passsion fruit was delicious, but share - it was huge. excellent value. will definitely go there again.

The poncha here is legit — made fresh and strong. Owner knows what he's doing. Way cheaper than the tourist traps around the Old Town.

Very nice dinner in Ponta do Sol. Sat outside and was greeted with a shot of Madeira. It was a busy Friday night but the hardworking servers still smiled. The fresh fish was very tasty, although the appetizer bolo, well infused with garlic, was my favourite. By the time I was done the last outdoor table was taken but they did not rush me. I will go back.

Came here with a couple of friends after someone suggested it, and honestly the beef skewers were the highlight. Super juicy, decent size too. We also tried the roasted goat—pretty solid, though I wished there was a bit more sauce. The bolo de cacao was a nice little sweet ending. Place was packed but we didn't wait long for food. Would come back if I'm craving grilled meat again 😊

Came here for a late lunch last week. Sat on the terrace, view is really something else when the sun starts going down. Had the tuna steak and a salad — fish was fresh, salad decent, portions big enough that I didn't need dinner after. Staff were nice, no complaints there. Price felt fair for what you get. Place was a bit busy but that's expected.

Came here three nights in a row — the poncha was that good. Food's simple but well done, and the staff actually remembers you.

The food was excellent. Service was fast. The restaurant overlooks the bay in a slightly quieter area. Portions aren’t huge. If you only order one item each, it may not be enough.

The pâté with garlic bread was the reason I’m still thinking about this place. So good. Steak came with this rich sauce that worked really well, and dessert topped it off nicely. Service was quick too, no complaints. Just wish I had room for seconds on that pâté.

Always good quality, can recommend the fillet steak skewer special. Homemade chips, crispy maize and homemade desserts. Some may find this a bit pricier than other restaurants on the island but the food is worth it and atmosphere is well worth it. Taxi pick up from the hotel and back is a great touch!

Have visited here previously and know the fish is always extremely fresh and beautifully cooked. We took friends in their first visit to Madeira and they loved it. We had sea bass, red snapper and stone cooked steak with chips, baked potatoes and vegetables. With 2 glasses of wine, two beers and water it was excellent value at €150 and we enjoyed the wonderful view of the fishing boats and sea from our table in the terrace

Service was quick and the staff spoke good English. Place was packed with locals, always a good sign. Casual vibe, nothing fancy but solid.

The steak sandwich on bolo do caco bread was the highlight—came here by accident and it turned out to be the best decision. Service was fast and friendly, and the homemade fries were a nice touch.

Special dishes we wanted from menu online were only available to order in advance so left aftevr 2 half glasses of water for 3 50.

The pizza itself was decent, but I was a bit let down by the lack of pepperoni. The crust was good, though. Service was fine, but we waited a while for our table since it was pretty busy that night. I'd probably come back to try something else, but maybe not on a weekend.

The chicken and cheese sandwich hit the spot. Portion was decent for the price. Frappe was good but honestly half the glass was just foam, kinda annoying. Staff were chill though. Nice spot if you're around and hungry.
