Thursday quiz night is a blast! The host keeps it lively and it&#39;s free to join. We grabbed the student deal on drinks and ended up winning a bar tab. Perfect for a laugh with mates.

The scones were lovely, crisp outside and fluffy inside. But the afternoon tea set is a bit pricey for what you get.

The dirty fries were a real highlight, so much flavour and surprisingly filling for a small plate. The cocktails looked great but service was a bit slow, had to wait a while to order a second round.

Decent local pub, staff were friendly and efficient. Had a couple of pints in the garden on a warm evening, very pleasant. Good spot for an after-work drink.

The rum tasting with Tom was good. He had his own notes and knew his stuff. For the price though, I expected a slightly bigger pour of each sample.

The English breakfast was a lovely surprise. The lamb sausages had a nice bit of spice to them, which I really enjoyed. I also appreciated being able to add extra bits to my omelette. The daal was very comforting on a chilly morning.

The model car displays are a nice touch. Had a quick coffee meeting here, the background music was at a good volume for conversation. Decent spot for a casual catch-up.

Lovely pub next to a lake. Friendly welcome. Sunday lunches were delicious. Generous portions.  The outdoor dining area will be perfect for a summers day.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely, especially near the harbor. The portions are generous, and the unlimited soft drinks are a great deal.

Great spot by the cathedral. The room was spotless and the huge sleigh bed was so comfy. Staff were really welcoming too.
