Thursday quiz night is a blast! The host keeps it lively and it&#39;s free to join. We grabbed the student deal on drinks and ended up winning a bar tab. Perfect for a laugh with mates.

The scones were lovely, crisp outside and fluffy inside. But the afternoon tea set is a bit pricey for what you get.

The dirty fries were a real highlight, so much flavour and surprisingly filling for a small plate. The cocktails looked great but service was a bit slow, had to wait a while to order a second round.

The rum tasting with Tom was good. He had his own notes and knew his stuff. For the price though, I expected a slightly bigger pour of each sample.

The refurbishment has made it so much more comfortable. Plenty of space now, both indoors and out. It has a relaxed, authentic feel that makes for a really pleasant meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which always helps.

Stopped by for a burger and a pint. The burger itself was decent, but the bun was a bit dry and cold. Service was friendly and quick though, which is what you want on a casual visit.

The steak tasting menu was a nice change of pace. The meat was cooked just right, which I really appreciated. My favourite part was the passion fruit soda from their soft drinks list &ndash; it felt fresh and not overly sweet. A good option if you&#39;re looking for something lighter.

Steak night was decent. The steak itself was cooked right, but honestly, for the price they charge, the portion felt a bit on the small side. I left thinking I could&#39;ve gotten more elsewhere for the same money.

The cod and prawn linguine was really creamy, just the right amount. The prawns were plump and fresh. Menu&#39;s got a fair few options, but I was happy sticking with this one.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Service was fast and efficient, got my order out in no time. The place has a good vibe, modern and not too loud. Perfect for when you just need to grab a bite and get back to it.

Had the Sunday roast here. Yorkshire pudding was good, they brought extra gravy promptly when I asked. Decent portion for the price. Felt like a proper local spot.

My mother and I visited to &quot;test&quot; The Badgers Sett for her 90th Birthday - we will be booking.  Good menu selection and great service.

The attitude of the staff, all most helpful and amenable to someone suffering with mobility problems.Always enjoy my visits to Toby, Chaddesden.

The &pound;12 for three items is a solid deal. We shared a few plates, the crispy squid was a highlight. Nice spot for a casual catch-up, gets quite lively later on.

Lovely secluded beer garden out back. Perfect for a sunny afternoon pint. The inside&#39;s spacious too, plenty of seating. My lager was crisp and went down a treat with the salted nuts. A proper spot for a quiet drink.

Mixed grill was spot on. Came out fast and piping hot, just what you need for a quick lunch. Flavours were all there, no complaints. Good spot for a quick bite.
