Really enjoyed the local craft ales here. The owners clearly know their stuff and have a great selection. It's nice to find a place that focuses on independent brewers. The seating was comfortable too, which made for a relaxed visit.

Just tried their new spot. The sandwich was spot on, fresh bread and generous fillings. Salad had a nice crunch. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place was packed. Really enjoyed it.

Stumbled upon this spot. Their iced latte has finely crushed ice, which makes it so smooth. Really appreciate the attention to detail in the texture.

Came here for a special dinner. The house wines were lovely, but what really stood out was the quality of the ingredients. The vegetables in my main course tasted so fresh and vibrant. You can tell they source carefully.

The ribs were fantastic, really tender and flavourful. Everything else in our takeaway was spot on too. Just a shame the delivery took a bit longer than expected, but the food was worth the wait.

Popped in for a coffee while walking around. The place feels really cosy and lived-in, like a proper local spot. Barista was sound, got my flat white sorted quick. Prices are decent for what you get.

Came for the fish and chips. The batter was properly crispy all over, and the homemade curry sauce was a nice touch. Chips stayed hot till the last bite. Solid.

The dairy-free snacks were a nice find, and the staff helped me pick some out. The raspberry tea was lovely on a rainy day.

The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, falling off the bone. The red wine jus had a deep, rich flavour that really worked with the meat. It's a bit pricey for the portion size, but the taste was spot on.

Cosy spot in Penrith. The scone with that Cumberland mustard had a nice little kick to it. Soups were tasty too. Good for a quick warm-up.

The breakfast for two was a good size and around £12, which felt reasonable. I appreciated the fresh ingredients, especially the tomatoes and avocado. They tasted really vibrant.

The ice cream here was a real find. Rich and creamy, you can tell they use quality ingredients. A proper treat after a long walk in the Lake District.

The staff here are so on it! Even when it's absolutely rammed, they're still checking in and keeping things moving. Felt really looked after, which is a big plus when you're catching up with mates.

Solid Italian spot. The pasta was cooked just right, sauce had good flavour. Pizzas are thin and crisp, toppings are decent. The garlic sauce on the veg side is potent, but the vegetables were fresh. Service was efficient.

Popped in for lunch with the kids. The Caesar salad was crisp, and the tuna melt hit the spot. My little one was happy with his milkshake. What really stood out was the wine list—found a surprisingly good Pinot Grigio by the glass that paired nicely with the meal. A solid, relaxed spot.

Cosy place with a huge tea and coffee menu. They grind the beans fresh, you can smell it from outside. Ordered a flat white, but it was a bit on the small side for the price.

Had the chicken and chorizo pasta, it was so good! My partner loved his sausage too. The best part was the big plates - we all got to share a bit of everything while we chatted. Perfect for a catch-up with friends.

Great spot right in the centre, super easy to get to from the station. The main thing for me was the space itself—really liked the high ceilings and the big windows, felt very open and light. Just a nice, relaxed place to sit for a bit.

Good spot for a casual drink. They have the sports on, but it's not too loud or crowded. Had a burger and a pint while catching up on emails. Solid choice for a quick, no-fuss bite near the office.

Service was prompt and professional. They handled a last-minute booking change without any fuss. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Good to see a place that gets the basics right.

Really appreciate the freshness of the ingredients here. Had the grilled salmon salad for lunch and the greens were crisp, the fish tasted just-cooked. It's a reliable spot for a light, healthy meal. The happy hour prices are a nice bonus.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. Ordered the pad thai again last night, and it was exactly as I remember—same generous portion, same rich flavour. That kind of reliability is hard to find.

Came for the Grinch breakfast event, they handled a packed pub of kids brilliantly. My full English was spot on. The real highlight was their house bloody mary - a proper kick, really made the morning. The Grinch himself was a riot with the little ones.

Perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink, right by the Town Hall. We had a lovely glass of red on the terrace before heading off. The wine list was decent, a good selection by the glass. A bit pricey for the area, but you're paying for that central location.

Lovely spot for a light lunch. The space is bright and airy, especially by the big glass windows. I had a scone from their fresh bake selection - it was nice, though the seating felt a bit cramped when the place got busy.

Looks basic from the outside, but the food is seriously good. Got the chicken sandwich for a quick lunch, came out fast. Spotless inside too.
