The sticky toffee sundae was the star for me. The warm, gooey sauce with the cold ice cream was just right. We tried a few of the small plates too, decent variety for the price.

Quick breakfast with friends, and the staff were really friendly. Food was tasty and the portions are generous, so we left happy!

The service was spot on. Staff were friendly and professional, but what stood out was the sommelier's advice on a wine pairing for our main course. It just clicked. Made the whole evening. A bit on the pricey side for the bottle, but worth it for the experience.

Been here a few times now, both dining in and getting takeaway. The chicken saag with onion rice is my go-to, so flavourful! The staff are always so friendly, which makes it a nice spot to catch up with friends.

The game pie is the reason I come back. The crust is flaky, the filling is rich with venison and rabbit, not dry at all. It's a proper, hearty portion. The burger is decent, but the pie is what they do best.

Lunch was a solid 7/10. The warm bread was a lovely touch, and the beef fillet was cooked just right – really tasty. The pork loin was a bit plain for my taste, but I'd come back for that beef any day.

Always book ahead! It was packed when we got there, and we only just squeezed in. Had to eat a bit quickly as they needed the table back. Still, a fun spot for a catch-up with mates.

Popped in for lunch with friends last week. We all got the salmon special with prawns and veg - the creamy sauce was spot on. Good for sharing a few plates and a catch-up. Might be back when I'm next in Bowness.

Food came out quick and tasted good. Had the pasta and a couple of small plates, decent variety and prices were fair. Solid spot for a casual bite.

Been coming here for years. The vegan stuffed roasted pepper is always spot on. You can tell they put care into it. Nice to have a proper option for different diets.

Been coming here for years, their porridge is spot on. Thick, creamy, just right. Coffee's good too. Staff are always polite and quick.

Been coming here for years, and the dog biscuit is a nice touch. Our spaniel always gets one, makes it feel like a proper local. Tables are always clean, staff are friendly. It’s just a reliable spot.

Great spot for live music, the vibe is spot on. Inside is way more spacious than you'd think from the street. The acoustics are good, not too loud to chat. My only gripe is the table service was a bit slow once the band started.

Just popped in for a pint after they opened. Had the place to myself, which was quiet. Bartender was a friendly chap, happy to chat. The ale was spot on, really well-kept. A proper local feel.

Been coming here for ages, and the service is always quick. They just make you feel looked after.

The pesto gnocchi was really nice, and I enjoyed a couple of decent cocktails at the bar. Service was attentive and professional, which made dining alone quite pleasant. A solid spot for a solo meal.

Loved the lamb skewers! The patatas bravas are honestly the best I've had. The cosy, Sicilian vibe is just right for a relaxed catch-up with friends. We ended up staying for ages.

The Massaman curry was so comforting, rich and creamy with tender chunks of beef. The green curry had a lovely, fragrant kick to it. Both were spot on. The staff were really sweet and attentive, even on a packed Friday night.

The grilled fish was spot on, and the wine list had some nice options. Staff were really good at checking in without hovering, which was perfect for catching up with friends. Made for a relaxed evening.

Bottomless brunch was solid. The staff kept the drinks topped up without asking, which was perfect. Menu looks great, will be back to try more.

Modern and clean spot, plus they’re dog-friendly. Got the full menu for takeaway, which was ideal for a quick bite at the beach picnic tables. Simple and convenient.

Good pub food and a nice range of ales. Staff were really helpful squeezing us in when it was packed.

Tried the tasting menu. Interesting flavours, not your usual fare. Service was prompt and efficient. The decor is quirky, they've kept some of the original features. A solid choice for a business lunch in the area.

Stopped in on a road trip. The salt and pepper ribs were spot on—crispy and full of flavour. The real winner was their house red, a robust Shiraz that cut through the richness perfectly. Service was attentive without being fussy. A very pleasant surprise indeed.

The gluten-free bread here is a nice touch. Not everywhere has it, and it was actually pretty decent. Made ordering a lot easier for me.

Been coming here for years. The fried chicken and chorizo tostada are always spot on. You can taste the fresh ingredients, it's clear they don't cut corners. That's why I keep coming back.

Caught the match here last night. The big screens are perfect for watching, really clear from most seats. It gets quite lively when it's busy, which is fun. A good spot if you want to watch the game with a pint.
