The decor here is so inviting, really cosy. Staff handled our big group without a fuss, still found time for a quick chat. Felt relaxed the whole time.

Modern and comfortable spot. Staff were quick and friendly. Just had a coffee, but it was good. Convenient location for a quick stop. I'll be back.

The millionaire's shortcake was so good. Rich caramel, perfect crumb. The paradise slice was a nice follow-up, not too sweet. Just a lovely little treat with my coffee.

Had the Sunday roast here. The portion was generous, especially the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Good value for the price. The burger looked decent too, but I stuck with the roast.

Popped in for a coffee and cake deal during a Lake District walk. The cafe had these lovely big windows, so you could just sit and watch the world go by with your drink. Really nice spot to take a break.

The mixed sizzler was a decent choice, tasty and freshly cooked. The staff were friendly, though service was a bit slow.

The set menu is the move here. Three courses and a drink for that price is solid. The starter soup was a bit thin, but the main—a braised pork belly—was spot on. Tender, savoury, fell apart nicely. Dessert was simple, just ice cream.

The upstairs dining area is huge! They have a nice wine list that paired well with the spicy dishes. A solid spot in Kendal.

Decent food for the price. The grilled chicken was actually really good - juicy and with a nice char. I'd come back just for that.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Found a table outside, service was fast. Fish and chips were decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Good for when you're in a rush.

Came for the wood-fired pizza and it didn’t disappoint. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the toppings on the Margherita were so fresh. The Pollo was great too – really generous with the chicken. Will be back for those!

Lovely environment & foodExtremely pleasant staffI pre ordered a bottle for our arrival & it was there for us right away.A lovely night to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Been here for their afternoon tea a few times. Sandwiches are fresh, scones are warm. Service is always spot on. It's a decent option if you're in the area and fancy a cuppa.

It's a handy spot just a short walk from the station, perfect for a bite before your train. The food was pretty good, decent portions for the price. Service was fine, though a little slow that evening.

Been coming here for years. The set menu's a solid deal. I usually get the leggera pizza with salad, it's a nice lighter option. Always tasty, service is quick and friendly.

Came here for New Year's Eve. They started us off with a glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The tables had a good spread of meats and cheeses to nibble on. It was a relaxed, friendly evening - the karaoke was fun without being too loud or overwhelming.

Lovely relaxed vibe, perfect for catching up with friends. The North Indian Lamb was so authentic, took me right back!

Been here a few times now. The sausages are always spot on, not greasy at all. Pizzas are solid, simple, and just what you want. Staff are friendly, place is relaxed. Good for a straightforward meal.

Karis was so lovely! She really made sure we had a great night out with my friends. The cocktails were a nice surprise, really well-made. It’s the kind of service that makes a casual dinner feel a bit more special.

Great spot for a sunny afternoon! The outdoor seating at the back was lovely, and the little play area kept my friend's toddler happy for ages. We just had drinks, but the garden felt really relaxed.

The Berlin burger was huge on that homemade bun, really hit the spot. The falafel platter looked great at the next table too. Just a solid, no-fuss meal.

The food arrived steaming hot, which I really appreciated. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Portions are generous for the price. A solid choice if you're watching your budget but still want a decent meal.

The takeaway packaging was really thoughtful, sturdy boxes that kept everything warm and separate. Perfect for a big order like ours, and it was all ready right when they said.

A reliable takeaway spot for us. The portions are generous, easily two meals. Flavours are pretty good.

The burritos are huge! Couldn't finish mine, but the spicy sauce was so good. Perfect for sharing with a friend.

The service was really nice and friendly. It's a good change from all the fried food places around here.

After our hike, the steak and ale pie was a proper comfort meal. The Stilton gave it a nice sharp kick. The menu looked good, but honestly, I was too hungry to even think about the other options.

Been coming here for years, and the carvery's always spot on. The turkey's never dry, and the Yorkshire puddings are always generous. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Great spot for gluten-free options. Everything we ordered was safe and tasted good. A couple of dishes had a nice spicy kick to them. Service was quick and efficient, which I appreciate.
