The yuzu miso mayo rice ball on a skewer was tasty and simple. Just the right size for a little snack.

The dengaku was pretty good. I liked being able to customize the flavor with the different condiments they bring to the table. The black shichimi pepper was my favorite. A nice, simple lunch.

Soba came out fast, just what I needed. Light and easy on the stomach, good for a quick bite when you're in a rush. Got me in and out during a busy lunch break.

The staff are always so cheerful in the mornings, even when it gets really busy. It's a small thing, but their friendly energy makes my whole visit feel so much more relaxed.

The soy milk cream au lait was a nice touch. The soft serve is the real star here, incredibly smooth. Service was better than my last visit, which made things more relaxed.

The live music in the evening was a lovely touch. But what really stood out for me was the garden view from our table. You could see every detail of the moss and stones, so peaceful. It made the whole meal feel more relaxing.

The taiyaki shell was perfectly crisp, not soggy at all. Inside, the red bean paste was smooth and not too sweet. You can tell it's made fresh, one by one. The texture contrast is the whole point here.

The hotel pier is so convenient for the cormorant fishing boats. Their house sake was a nice, simple pairing for the evening.

The food here is surprisingly light for Chinese cuisine. I loved how the flavors were balanced and not at all greasy. Just felt nice and clean after the meal.

The English menu was a lifesaver for our group! The staff were super patient with our broken Japanese. Made ordering so much easier.

Quick lunch spot. Ordered the chicken katsu set. Came out fast, which I appreciate. The staff was nice, brought hot tea without asking. Tatami seating is cool for the vibe, but not the most comfy for a quick meal.

The chestnut loaf and red bean bun were so good! The bread had this perfect, soft-yet-chewy texture. The whole bakery smelled incredible, made it a cozy spot to catch up with a friend over coffee.

The cakes are good, coffee is decent. Staff is attentive without being intrusive. The outdoor seating area is a plus, nice to have a quiet moment with a view. A bit on the pricier side for what it is.

The Shoushimin parfait was a nice treat. I liked that the fruit was fresh and not overly sweet. The whipped cream was light. A good balance for a dessert.

I've been coming here for a while, and the food is definitely better than it used to be. The new collaboration dish I tried was a fun surprise!

The dengaku skewers were so good. The tofu was fluffy, and the sweet miso glaze had a nice little char. Just what I needed after walking around all day.

Dining at Takada Hassho is not just about the food; it's an experience. The combination of exquisite flavors and artistic presentation makes it worth every yen.
