Had to wait in line for about 30 mins for dinner, but it moved fast. The vibe was perfect for catching up with friends—everyone was chatting and laughing. It was a bit loud, but honestly that just made it more fun for our group.

The sashimi platter was so fresh, you could really taste the quality of the local fish from Uozu. The white shrimp was a highlight for me.

Sashimi platter was generous and fresh. Grilled blackthroat seaperch was the highlight. Good for a quick, satisfying bite.

This place is run by a lovely couple. It's a proper, old-school izakaya. We had a few beers and some simple grilled chicken skewers—just the right amount of salt. Felt like stepping back in time. A nice, quiet spot to unwind after work.

The tonkatsu was so good! Thick, juicy pork with a really crispy crust. Loved trying all the different sauces on the table.

Been coming here for years, and the special takoyaki plate they do for birthdays is the main reason. It's always the same, always good. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

The premium unagi was a decent portion, grilled nicely over charcoal. It had a pretty good aroma. I left feeling satisfied, though the price is a bit on the higher side.

Good spread for a hotel buffet. The local sake in the morning was a nice surprise, actually enjoyed it. Made the start of the day feel a bit different.

I always look for smaller portions, so the half-size ramen was perfect for me. The broth had a clean, rich flavor. The black sesame tsukemen was great, the noodles had a nice chew and the pork was tender. A good spot for a light, satisfying meal.

Premium Hoppy here is a treat. Miso soup starter was a nice touch. Got my set lunch quickly, perfect for a fast break. A bit pricier than usual spots, but the speed makes up for it.

The staff remembered I can't have gluten from last time. They were really nice about it, checked everything without me asking. It just felt considerate.

The zucchini pizza was a real standout. The crust had a fantastic, chewy texture. I paired it with a crisp white wine from their list, which cut through the richness nicely. Portions are on the smaller side, but the flavor makes up for it.

The portions are generous and the prices are really fair. I appreciate that the ingredients tasted so fresh, especially in the vegetable dishes. A nice local spot for a simple, wholesome meal.

Fresh sashimi was the highlight. Perfectly sliced, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The seasoned rice was also good, simple but flavorful. Presentation was beautiful, like art on a plate.

Came for the yakiniku and the beef sirloin was so tender. The tongue had a nice texture too, not chewy at all. Just the right amount of seasoning.

Counter seat was perfect for watching the kitchen. The fried rice had a nice, subtle crab flavor. Portions are generous, which I appreciate.

The mountain veggie soba was just right for a rainy day. The dashi broth had a gentle, savory flavor that really warmed me up. Simple and soothing.

The katsudon was a nice surprise. Thin, crispy pork cutlet over rice. The spicy mushroom pickles were a great touch. I had a local lager with it, which cut through the richness nicely. Solid choice for a quick lunch.

The summer special chestnut shaved ice was so fluffy! The syrup tasted like real chestnuts, not too sweet. Perfect for beating the heat.

The tablet ordering with English menu was a lifesaver. Staff were patient and tried their best to help, even with the language gap. Made the whole process much smoother.
