The sausages here are really good, proper quality meat. Fresh rolls too, you can taste the difference. Owner's a friendly guy, always up for a quick chat. Place gets busy around lunchtime but that's a good sign. Been coming here for a while now, never been disappointed. Just wish they had a bit more seating inside.

The iced espresso with that frozen whipped cream on top was a proper pick-me-up. Sat outside in the courtyard, which was nice. Service was quick too. Would've liked a slightly bigger cup for the price, but it hit the spot.

Been coming here for years. Breakfast is solid, cakes are good too. Service stays friendly even when it gets busy. Still one of the better spots in Wernigerode.

Stopped by for a drink and honestly the vibe at the market square was the best part. Service was quick, staff super friendly. Perfect little spot to hang with friends before heading somewhere else. Drinks were decent, nothing crazy but fine for a casual evening. Maybe a bit pricey but you pay for the location I guess 😄

The fish risotto was spot on — rice still had a bite and the sauce worked really well with the fish. Lucky to get a table on Christmas Day without a reservation.

Solid spot right by the castle. Had the pizza and pasta, both were decent. Service was attentive without hovering. Interior's got that classic feel. Fine for a quick meal after sightseeing.

Been coming here for a while now, and the vibe still gets me. Indoor trees, soft lighting—feels like a little slice of Italy without leaving the city. Pizza's been consistent every time, which is honestly why I keep coming back. Not the cheapest spot, but you get what you pay for. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Decent place for a relaxed breakfast. Had the apple pie, which was pretty good. Staff were friendly enough, even when it got busy. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a quick lunch around 1pm. Place was packed, but they squeezed me in at the counter. Got the schnitzel — came out fast, hot, and crispy. Exactly what I needed for a short break. No fuss, no waiting around. Solid spot if you're in a hurry and want something decent.

Great spot right in the center, super lively vibe. The pasta was tasty and the margherita pizza hit the spot. Service stayed quick even when it got busy.

Came here with a couple of friends on a random weekday evening. Place was buzzing, but we still got a table pretty quick. Food arrived super fast and hot, which I honestly didn't expect for how packed it was. The Greek music in the background was a nice touch, made it feel more authentic. Only thing is it got a bit loud, but whatever. Good spot for a casual catch-up 😊

Service was the highlight—super quick and they handled my grandma's dietary stuff without any fuss. Portions are massive for what you pay, too. I had the schnitzel and honestly couldn't finish it. Only tiny thing: it got a bit loud by the window. But for the price, I'm not complaining.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night, place wasn't too busy. Got the pasta and a glass of red, both were solid. They even made a veggie version without fuss, which I appreciated. Service was friendly but a bit slow at times. Fine for a casual dinner, nothing fancy but decent enough.

The roast beef with fried potatoes was spot on, really tender. Amuse-bouche was a nice touch too. Cozy spot, service kept it smooth. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

The owners, a Punjabi couple, were friendly and efficient. Veg kofta and mango lassi hit the spot. Solid spot for Indian food in Wernigerode.

Lovely courtyard, and the homemade cake paired nicely with a crisp glass of Riesling. Staff stayed friendly despite the rush.

The service was friendly and attentive, contributing to a perfect evening. The unique flavor combinations in the dishes were a delightful surprise.

Solid ice cream spot. Got two scoops, portion was huge. Terrace seating made it better. Quality was good, not mind-blowing but solid. Prices fair for what you get. Worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Decent spot inside the old brewery. Staff spoke good English and were friendly. Smoked salmon was pretty good, portion generous. Just a bit warm inside.

Lovely rustic spot with a warm, cozy vibe. The owner actually came by to check if everything was alright — that was a nice touch. Food was tasty, nothing fancy, but solid.

We stopped here after a long walk along the Bode river. The trout was really good, and they had a nice wine selection too. Sitting outside by the water was peaceful, just what we needed. Service was friendly and unhurried. Only small thing, we waited a bit for the bill, but no big deal. Would come back if we are in the area again.

The grilled salmon was fresh and flaky, not overcooked at all. Portion felt right for the price. Nice to find a spot that gets the basics right.

Vietnamese and Japanese plates were solid, nicely plated. Free plum wine and a hot towel on the house was a nice touch. Service kept it chill.

The herring trio was solid, especially the sherry one. Really fresh and well done. Place is small but worth it if you like fish.

Decent all-you-can-eat place. Staff were quick and friendly, which I appreciated. The food selection is huge, though the room itself feels a bit plain. Fair price for what you get.

Watched them slide our pizza into the wood-fired oven—nice touch. Service was friendly, place felt relaxed. Dough could’ve been a bit crispier, but overall a decent stop.

Big portions, fair price. Jägerschnitzel was really good, one of the better ones I've had here. Kids meal cheap too, nuggets actually homemade. Place was busy but food came quick. Solid spot for a fast lunch.

We stopped by for lunch and the schnitzel was solid—crispy, not greasy. They swapped the mushroom sauce for roulade sauce without making a fuss, which I appreciated. Portions are generous, definitely enough to share or take home. The room itself is a bit tight, though. Old town setting means narrow tables and not much space between them. Fine for a quick meal, but I wouldn't linger too long.

Decent little Asian place, we went for the daily special and it was solid. Portions are big, but heads up - cash only. Kind of annoying but the food made up for it. 😅
