The cappuccino here is really consistent—I’ve been a few times and it’s always spot on. The homemade stuff they have is the real highlight though, you can tell they put actual care into it. Also grabbed some gourmet products to take home, nice little selection. Just wish they had a bit more seating, it got pretty crowded.

Decent price for what you get, especially with the Markt view. Decor's a bit tired and the music is old, but the food's solid. Service was friendly enough. Fine for a casual meal.

The homemade cakes are the real reason to stop here. I had a slice of fresh tart with coffee on the terrace after the climb—simple, but exactly right. The place has that rustic, unpretentious feel you hope for in a forest inn. Nothing fancy, just honest food and a quiet view.

The cheesecake here is homemade and honestly the best I've had in a long time. Sat on the terrace afterwards, very relaxing. 😊

Decent spot to warm up after a hike. Homemade cakes were pretty good, service was fine. Indoor seating's a bit tight though, fills up fast.

Stopped by for a late afternoon snack. Blueberry mousse cake was light, not too sweet, really well done. Tea menu has some good options too. Place is small, owner runs it solo I think, so service can be a bit slow. But he's a nice guy, chatty. Fine for a quiet break.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and a slice of cake. The sundae looked good, so I grabbed one too. Service was fast, which I appreciated. Place was a bit busy but fine for a short break. Prices are okay for the city center. Not somewhere I'd linger, but solid for a quick bite.

Dropped by without expecting much. The currywurst was solid, fries crispy. Staff seemed genuinely into their work, not that fake polite thing. Place was a bit cramped but whatever. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

The tarte flambée here caught me off guard, in a good way. Thin, crispy, just the right amount of toppings. I grabbed a spot by the window and it felt cozy, not pretentious. Tea list is solid too, though I wish they had one more herbal option. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We stayed in one of the holiday apartments—really charming, had everything we needed. Only letdown was the coffee, tasted a bit stale. But honestly, the rest of the wellness weekend made up for it. Would come back for the quiet and the comfortable bed.

Came here on a Tuesday night, place was packed but got a seat quick. Had the Leberkäse with fried potatoes and salad. Honestly, that was proper home-style cooking. Prices are fair for the portion you get. Not fancy, but you don't need fancy when it tastes like this. Will be back when I'm in the area.
