The homemade tagliatelle was really good, beautifully presented too. Prices are on the higher side but fair for what you get. Just be prepared to wait a bit—it’s clearly popular.

Decent Italian place. We had the pasta and it was fresh, pretty good. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing is it gets busy, so expect a short wait if you go at peak time. Fine for a casual dinner.

Second visit, and they remembered us. That warm welcome alone made the evening. Food was solid, service friendly. Felt like coming home, honestly.

They kept the kitchen open for us even though it was already closed. That alone made me stay. Currywurst and fries hit the spot, nothing fancy but exactly what I needed. A bit quiet in there, but I didn’t mind. Just good food and no rush.

The meat platter was massive, honestly the biggest I’ve ever seen. Meat was super tender and the tzatziki really stood out. We liked it so much we came back the next day for pastitsio—perfect rainy day food. 🍖

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a seat near the window. The rustic decor is nice, but the chairs are a bit hard after an hour. Food was solid and came out quick. Chef actually walked around and asked how things were, which felt genuine. Not fancy, but comfortable enough for a casual bite.

The place looks super cute with the holiday decor 🎄 and the food was solid. Service was a bit meh though, kinda felt rushed. Still a good spot to grab dinner with friends.

The dolmadakia were spot on, really tasted like they came straight from Greece. Cozy little place, though it did get a bit warm inside. Host was friendly and took good care of us.

The blueberry schnitzel (Harzer Blaubeerschmandschnitzel) was the reason I came, and it didn't disappoint. Sweet and savory, worked better than I expected. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, so service was a bit stretched, but nothing unreasonable. If you're in the area and want something off the usual menu, it's a solid stop.

We came with a bigger group and they managed it really well. Even though the place was full, the staff stayed friendly and we never felt pushed to leave. That kind of calm service is not something you see everywhere. I appreciated that a lot. Just a small note, it got a bit loud at times, but that's expected when it's that busy.

The Teufels-Schnitzel was really good and didn’t take long to come out. Service was friendly without hovering. Solid spot if you want a no-fuss meal.

The tarte flambée was really good—crispy edges, just the right amount of onion. Staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the whole thing feel easy. Place is small and relaxed, no fuss. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.

Walked in without a booking on a packed Saturday. Owner still found us a table, which I appreciated. Had the schnitzel and a local beer—solid, nothing fancy. Service was efficient, no long waits. Place was a bit loud, but that's expected when it's full. Fair price for what you get. Would stop by again if in the area.

The pizza had a nice crispy crust and fresh toppings. Portions were generous too. Cozy little place, and the staff made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

We went for dinner with a few friends and honestly the schnitzel was the star. Huge portions, crispy, and the meat was really good quality. Place got packed pretty fast though, so definitely book a table if you don’t wanna wait. I’d come back for sure 😊

Came for the pizza and honestly the crust was the star—chewy, slightly charred, just right. Toppings tasted super fresh too. Place was packed when I got there, but that felt like a good sign. Service was friendly, nothing over the top, but warm enough. Only thing: it got a bit loud inside. Still, solid spot if you're craving real Italian pizza.

Been coming here for a while now, and the seitan dürüm keeps me coming back. Properly seasoned, not dry, actually fills you up. Nice to see a veggie option that isn't just falafel or cheese for once. Place gets busy around lunch, but it's worth the short wait.

The staff handed out coloring stuff to the kids without us even asking. Place was clean, bathrooms too. Food was decent, nothing crazy but fine for a family stop.

Stopped by for a late afternoon snack. Blueberry mousse cake was light, not too sweet, really well done. Tea menu has some good options too. Place is small, owner runs it solo I think, so service can be a bit slow. But he's a nice guy, chatty. Fine for a quiet break.

The pork knuckle was really good - meat just fell off the bone, no knife needed. Kale on the side worked well too. Prices felt fair for what you get. Service was friendly enough. Solid stop after a long hike, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Maybe a bit crowded around noon but that's on me for timing.

Decent price for what you get, especially with the Markt view. Decor's a bit tired and the music is old, but the food's solid. Service was friendly enough. Fine for a casual meal.

Decent little café. Had the tarte flambée and it was pretty good. Service was friendly, though the place got a bit noisy later on. Fine for a casual stop.

The calf's liver was spot on—still pink inside, and that sauce had some real depth to it. Sat outside on the terrace, which was nice and quiet. Service kept things moving without hovering. Only gripe: the bread could've been warmer. But for the price, I'd take this over a steak any day.

The garlic potatoes were the standout — properly crispy outside, soft inside, and plenty of garlic. Portion size was decent for the price. Place was busy on a weekday evening, so expect a bit of a wait. Service was efficient once we got seated. I'd come back for those potatoes alone.

Came for the food, ended up loving the terrace more than I expected. Warm evening, lights on, just a really nice spot to sit. Had the grilled octopus—cooked well, not rubbery at all. Service was friendly too, no complaints there. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back.

The homemade cakes are the real reason to stop here. I had a slice of fresh tart with coffee on the terrace after the climb—simple, but exactly right. The place has that rustic, unpretentious feel you hope for in a forest inn. Nothing fancy, just honest food and a quiet view.

The wine list surprised me—great picks to match the food. Seasoning was a bit heavy, but the ingredients shone through.

The schnitzel and fish platter were both solid, veal steak cooked just right. Chocolate mousse was the highlight—creamy, not too bitter. Portions are big for the price.
