The French onion soup was really good, probably the best I've had in the Netherlands. Eggs Royale was solid too. But honestly, the portion sizes are a bit small for what you pay. Left feeling like I could've eaten another plate. Tasty, sure, but I'm not sure it's worth the bill. Maybe just go for the soup.

Been coming here for a while now and the food stays consistent. Had the grilled fish again, still cooked just right. Staff remembers me, which is nice. Place gets busy around 7, so I usually come earlier. Not the cheapest spot but you get what you pay for.

Stopped by for lunch, the loaded fries were spot on. Service was quick, no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Reasonable prices, that’s for sure. Around 15 euros for a main and it really fills you up. Portions are generous, almost too much honestly. Good spot if you’re hungry and don’t want to spend a fortune. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast — the simit was fresh, still warm, and the omelette had a nice fluffy texture. Staff were friendly without hovering. Place is small but fine for a casual bite. Just wish they had a bit more seating, but I’d come back for that simit alone.

The’Menu To Share’ and accompanying winetasting is a real culinary delight! You should really try it!

The mixed gyro platter hit the spot. Meat was juicy, well-seasoned, and the portion felt fair for what you pay. Didn't need to ask for anything twice. Solid spot if you're after something quick and tasty.

Nice cocktails, friendly service. Music was a bit loud for chatting though, and drinks aren't cheap. Still a decent spot to unwind.

The Limburgse vlaai here is proper—apple with nuts is my go-to, cherry comes close. It gets busy so expect a short queue, but worth it for a slice with coffee.

Came here for a weekday lunch with a friend and grabbed the 3-course menu. Honestly such a solid deal for the price. My main was well plated and cooked just right. Place wasn't too busy so we could actually chat without shouting. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stumbled onto this place by accident and ended up staying way longer than planned. The terrace looks right over the square, perfect for people-watching. Got a table outside and just chilled with a drink. Staff was friendly, didn't rush us at all. Bathroom was surprisingly clean too, which is always a plus in my book.

The Monday night jazz here is such a vibe 🎹 live piano, bass and drums with a decent rotating draft list. Place was buzzing even on a weekday.

Nice spot for gifts—lots of local zero-waste stuff. Tea room in the back is a bonus. Prices are a bit steep though, so watch your budget.

Nice big terras. Good food and friendly staff. Lots of different kinds of beer and drinks. Restaurant still closed through covid. For a good lunch. Diner or quick stop.

The ambiance at Harry's is perfect for a romantic dinner, complemented by attentive service and a well-curated wine list.

Two drinks, two soups, three sushi rolls—€40. That felt fair for what we got. The waitress spoke perfect English, which helped a lot since my German is still shaky. Sushi was fresh, rolls held together nicely. Place was busy but not chaotic. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Nice spot right in the pedestrian zone. Pasta was solid, cooked well. Service okay, friendly enough but one waiter seemed a bit distracted. Not busy when I went, so that was good. Prices fair for the location. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Really nice restaurant! Great food, friendly service, and lively atmosphere. We had a great experience and consider they have a good price/quality rapport.

Crispy pork belly with pak choi in garlic chili sauce was spot on. Good crunch, proper heat. Place has that family-run feel, nothing fancy but solid.

The döner here is consistently good—great meat, fresh salads, and a solid selection of sauces. It's my go-to spot in Aachen.

The veggie schnitzel with Rahmsauce and Ofenkartoffel is my usual order here. Solid flavor, professional service. Reliable spot in Aachen.

The rump steak with pepper sauce was cooked just right, and the bratkartoffeln were really good. I liked that they didn’t drown it in sauce, you could actually taste the meat. Portion was decent for the price too. Place was a bit busy when I went, but the food made up for it.

Been coming here for years and it's still my go-to for sushi. The baked rolls are solid, especially the spicy tuna one. Not fancy at all, but the fish always tastes fresh and the staff actually remember you. Only downside is it gets pretty loud on weekends. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The Sunday tapas buffet is still my go-to. Cheap, and the mix of Turkish, Greek, and Spanish stuff always hits the spot. Never gets old.
