Lunch was decent but honestly the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. The garden seating is nice though. Probably fine if you're not starving.

Food was lovely, but the owner's reaction to our complaint felt a bit cold. Shame, because the pasta was really good.

Solid buffet breakfast for €23. Fresh options and made-to-order eggs, plus a decent view. Good deal for a city center hotel.

Big portions, fresh salad, and that garlic sauce—honestly the best I've had. The hummus was creamy too. Just a heads up, cash only and not much seating. We squeezed in but it felt a bit tight. Still, for the price, it's hard to complain.

Came for a drink, left with a dinner reservation. The owner’s stories made the place feel alive. Lamb and fries were solid, though the seating felt a bit cramped.

The horse meat stew was proper comfort food, really tender. Quiche surprised me too, fresh and not too heavy. Dark pub vibe inside, felt very local.

The boulets-frites were proper Liège style, meatballs well seasoned and that homemade mayo with the fries... yeah, that worked. Portions are generous for what you pay. Place itself is nothing fancy, just solid and honest. I’d go back for the vol-au-vent alone. Maybe a bit quiet on a weekday evening, but that suited me fine.

Came here for a business lunch and the food was solid—consistent, no surprises. Staff knew what they were doing. Good spot if you need something reliable.

The rigatoni carbonara was spot on—rich, creamy, and a solid portion. You can tell they make the pasta by hand. Place has that proper family-run feel, nothing fancy but genuine.

The interior is genuinely cozy—warm lighting, soft chairs, you can actually sit for a while without getting stiff. Had a decent lunch there, nothing fancy but the vibe carried it. Maybe a bit quiet for some, but I liked that. Wouldn't mind coming back on a slow afternoon.

The pizza here is really good. I had the margherita and you could taste the freshness in the tomatoes and basil. Crust was spot on too, light and chewy. Honestly one of the better ones I've had outside of Italy. Just wish the place was a bit quieter, but the food made up for it.

Stopped here after a long hike and the chocolate pie really hit the spot. Had a German Hefe beer with it, nice combo. Outdoor seating is lovely, especially in good weather. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. Just wish I had more time to sit around, but it was a solid break overall.

The grilled veggie plate was fresh and nicely seasoned — you can tell they care about ingredients. Service lagged a bit between courses, but the flavors made up for it.

The foie gras burger with the beer pairing was something else. Boris made the whole thing fun too.

Stopped by for a quick bite last week. Menu's got some creative stuff, not just your usual pub grub. Tried a burger with a twist, pretty solid. Cocktails are decent too, not overpriced. Place was a bit noisy but that's fine. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Came in on crutches and they grabbed me a seat right away—that was nice. Open kitchen looked tidy, team worked smooth. Pasta was the highlight, clean flavors, well done.

The veal entrecote was solid and portions are pretty generous for the price. Only downside is seating inside is super limited, so better go early if you want a table. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

The 5-course surprise menu was a solid choice. Kitchen knows what they're doing, every plate was balanced and tasty. Wine pairing matched well too. Just be ready for a slow pace, we were there for a while.

Reasonable prices for Maastricht, especially with the riverside location. I had the lunch menu and thought the portion was decent for what you pay. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busy. Still, a solid spot if you want something easy by the water.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and had the owner's recommendation. Pretty good — you can tell they put some care into it. Place is small but has a homey feel. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Maybe not a destination spot, but decent if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a coffee and cake—the cake was really good, not too sweet. Coffee was solid too. Place has a nice vibe, pretty chill for a quick break. Wish I had more time to sit around honestly.

The staff were lovely, really attentive. Food was okay, not quite what I hoped for. But the wine list saved the evening—decent pours at fair prices.

We went for the tapas around the world thing and honestly, each plate had proper flavor. I had a glass of their house red with it, worked well with the spicy chorizo one. Staff left us alone long enough to enjoy, not hovering. Place looks lovely inside. Just wish they had one more vegetarian option, but fine for a night out.

The truffle burger was solid—rich flavor, messy in the best way. Bitterballen crispy on the outside, hot inside. Apple cake finished it off nicely.

Lovely terrace with real shade, that made the difference on a warm day. Food was refined, French-inspired but not fussy. Staff knew their menu well. Just wish the portions were a bit more generous.

Stopped for a beer and a snack on the terrace. View over the canal and castle is solid. Nice spot to chill, though the snack was pretty basic.

Lovely welcome and the plancha was really good. Tomato soup hit the spot too. Sandwiches were fresh, decent size for the price.

Lovely terrace setting, really enjoyed the aperitifs with the fries and crudités on the side. Service was friendly without hovering. Would've liked a bit more beer variety, but the ones they had were solid.

Food was decent, but we waited quite a while for it to come out. The playground nearby is a nice touch though, keeps the kids busy.

Solid Brazilian rodizio. Meat came around constantly, carved right at the table — picanha was the standout. Place isn't fancy, kinda basic inside, but honestly the food does the talking. Service kept up even when it got busy. Left full, no complaints.
