Came here with a couple of friends on a random weeknight and it was such a vibe. We grabbed the tasting flight and grilled sausages—honestly the sausages were the highlight. Place was pretty packed though, so we ended up squeezing at the bar. Next time I’d book a table for sure. 🍷

Came here with a couple of friends on a random weekday, nothing fancy, just hungry. Got the classic dishes, pretty solid for the price honestly. Place isn't big, tables are close together, but it kinda adds to the vibe. Service was quick enough, we weren't in a rush anyway. Would come back if I'm in the area again. 👍

The tapas here are really good, especially the shrimp in garlic chili oil and the sirloin. Service was attentive without hovering. Only thing is it gets a bit crowded, so the noise level went up as the evening went on. Still, a comfortable spot to sit and take your time. I’d go back for those shrimp alone.

The portions felt a bit small for what we paid, but the owner was nice and helped us pick flavours. Easy to chat without shouting, that’s a plus.

The upstairs area with pool and darts gives it a proper pub feel. Landlord was friendly enough. Beer selection does the job.

The coffee here was genuinely good, and I liked that they had oat milk without me having to ask. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable for staying longer.

Bors Gastro Bar is a tiny, lively street-food place with a quirky interior and the menu written all over the walls. There were quite a few people when we visited, and it was surprisingly difficult to work out what to order. They actually refer customers to their Wolt menu to see the full selection, which would be useful to check beforehand. The place has only a few stools, including three facing the wall, so it isn’t particularly comfortable for a family or group. The music was also quite loud, making it difficult to hear when ordering. Preparation took about 15 minutes.I had the vegan baguette. It was OK, but I’ve had considerably better. There is only one vegan option, so I wouldn’t consider this especially vegan-friendly despite having a vegan choice. I would try the vegetarian mushroom pasta next time, as it may be more to my taste.Prices were reasonable, and the person taking orders was friendly and smiling.I’d recommend Bors more for younger people, a quick bite, or a solo eater than for families or anyone looking for a comfortable meal.

The nitro flat white was a fun twist—creamy and smooth without any added sugar. The batch brew from Peru was also perfectly brewed.

The retro interior is a nice touch—lights and furniture give it character. Pizza was solid, prices normal for the center. Weekday lunch is easier to get a table. Terrace is a plus in summer.

Great rock-themed interior, clearly put together with some thought. Staff stayed efficient even when it was packed. Solid spot to grab a drink and talk music with strangers.

Been coming here for years. The beer list keeps changing enough to stay interesting, and prices are fair for what you get. Sunset view over the Danube still gets me every time.

The owner actually brought out a blanket when we sat outside—such a nice touch. He also took time to walk us through the wines. Really thoughtful service.

Stopped by for a quick pint and ended up staying longer than planned. The homebrew was solid, around $3.30 a pint which felt like a bargain honestly. Didn't eat but the menu looked decent for the price. Place had a relaxed vibe, nothing fancy but that's fine by me. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Came here with a couple of friends on a random weekday night. The tapas were tasty, especially the patatas bravas, but honestly the portions are tiny. We ordered like 6 dishes and still left a bit hungry. The place gets pretty packed too, so don't expect quick service. Still, it's a fun spot for a casual catch-up over wine. 😊

Stopped by for a quick bite before heading out. Tenderloin tartare was the standout—clean seasoning, good texture, came with decent bread on the side. Place has a nice buzz without being too loud. Cocktails looked solid too, though I only had one. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Would come back for that tartare again.

A must-visit spot in Budapest! The decor is quirky and changes from room to room, providing a truly original experience.

We stopped by on a Saturday night and the live jazz was really something. The place is small, so we were glad we booked ahead. Sitting close to the stage felt special, but the chairs are a bit hard after an hour. Still, the music made up for it. A proper jazz bar, not too touristy.

The food was really tasty, and the staff made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Nice spot if you want a relaxed meal without any fuss.

Stopped by for dinner and ended up staying longer than planned—that artsy vibe just pulls you in. Food’s nicely plated, flavors are solid, but honestly the portions left me wanting more for what we paid. Had a glass of their house red with the duck, paired better than I expected. Place has real character, just don’t come starving.

Stopped in for a latte and the New Yorker cheesecake. Coffee was solid, cake had that dense creamy texture I like. Tiny spot in the center, easy to grab and go.

Nice spot, drinks were solid. Outdoor seating has a good view, especially when the sun starts going down. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable.

The burger was massive, like barely fit in my hand massive. Tasted good too, not gonna lie. Price was fair for what you got, especially compared to some other places nearby. I left full and didn't feel ripped off. Good spot if you just want a solid lunch without overthinking it. Maybe not the most amazing thing ever, but it did the job.

The truffle beef paprikash was rich and tender—the creamy sauce worked great with the galuska. A solid red wine would've made it even better.

Popped in to warm up and ended up staying longer than planned. The basement room is cozy and roomy, but some background music would've been nice. Staff were friendly enough.

Solid little wine bar, right in the center. Old-school decor and simple stuff like lard bread and cottage cheese pancakes. Prices are fair for the location.

The ruin-bar vibe mixed with a fancier setting works surprisingly well. Cod steak with hollandaise was the standout, goulash bowl was decent but needed more punch. Hugo cocktails fell flat, but the food saved the night.

Coffee’s solid, and the baristas actually know what they’re doing. Cozy spot, but heads up—laptops only downstairs and the wifi’s kinda weak.

The goulash here was the highlight for me — rich, hearty, exactly what I needed on a chilly day. Duck was solid too. Prices felt fair for what you got. Service got a bit staggered when a big group came in, but it didn’t ruin the meal. I’d sit at the counter next time, just to watch the kitchen.
