They had a shrimp and fish étouffée special today. Got there right at noon and snagged a bowl. Flavor was solid, really hit the spot for a quick lunch. They do run out fast though, saw it gone by 12:30.

That village bread with roasted garlic is something else. Simple, but the flavor is just so deep. Ate it all before the main course even arrived.

Appetizers are the star here. The BBQ shrimp had a nice kick, and the crab cakes were perfectly crisp. Went with a crisp white wine that cut through the richness. Fried calamari was solid, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Gaby was our server and she was really attentive, made everything run smoothly. Food came out quick and tasted good. For the price though, the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

The pizza is pretty good. I had the Detroit-style with the cauliflower crust this time, and the toppings were fresh and generous. It's a decent spot for a creative slice.

The owners are friendly and it's clearly a family-run place. Had a quick business lunch here. Food was decent, service was prompt. Good for a straightforward meal near the office.

The burger and po'boy from the lunch menu were solid. The cheesecake was the real star, though. For the price, I was expecting a smaller slice, but it was huge. Shared it with my friend and still had some to take home.

Shaniel is a real pro behind the bar. Watching him mix drinks is a show in itself. My cocktail was perfectly balanced and came out looking like a piece of art. Definitely the highlight of my visit.

Was on a road trip and decided to stop here. The catfish and boudin egg rolls were a total find! Packed with flavor and a really generous portion. Just what I needed.

Service was on point even on a busy Friday night. Our server knew the wine list well and suggested a nice pairing for the steak. Never had to wait long for anything.

Service was on point even when packed. Our server kept checking in, never left us waiting for anything.

The triple dipper is my go-to. The salsa is always so fresh, you can tell the tomatoes and cilantro were prepped that day. It really makes the whole appetizer. The chips could be a bit warmer sometimes, but the freshness of the ingredients is spot on.

The vegan breakfast sandwich was a total game-changer for me. Perfectly seasoned tofu scramble and avocado on a soft brioche bun. I’ll be back for that alone.

The shrimp po'boy with jalapeño mayo is a standout. That spicy kick was a great surprise. Service was super quick, got my food in no time. Solid spot.

The private room was perfect for our small group. The food was the real star though. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, tender and full of flavor. Service was attentive without being intrusive. A very smooth evening.

The dining room is really spacious, which I liked. It’s decorated nicely, not too over the top. Felt comfortable just hanging out there for a while.

Been here a few times. The patio is nice when the weather's good, you can see the water. Inside feels a bit more formal but still comfortable. It's a solid spot for a quiet dinner.

Good portions for the price. The pad thai was solid, and we had leftovers.

Been coming here for years. Late-night cheesecake and bread pudding hit the spot. Portions are decent, not huge. Good for when you just need something sweet.

They were slammed but still took care of my issue fast. Good to see a place that doesn't drop the ball when it's busy. Got my order sorted and was out the door.

Stopped by Saturday evening. Server was friendly and got us sorted quickly. Menu had a lot of options, but she pointed us to the good stuff. Food came out fast, which was perfect. Got the burger and it hit the spot for a quick bite.

Crab cake and short rib were solid. Pecan butter rolls were the highlight, warm and soft. Staff was chill, didn’t rush us. Good spot to unwind after a long day.

Grabbed a quick lunch here and the spicy tuna roll was spot on – fresh fish, just the right kick. Service was friendly and fast, which was nice for a midday bite.

I've been here a few times. The food is pretty good for a fast-casual place, and the prices are decent. It's my go-to for Mexican in Baton Rouge.
