The fish was fresh and the batter crispy. Portions are decent for the price. They even show you which boat your fish came from, which is a nice touch.

The cauliflower soup and croque monsieur were perfect for sharing, really generous portions. Just what we needed before heading to the castle.

The full English here is generous and well-prepared. Quality ingredients make a difference - the bacon was a standout, thick and flavourful. Coffee was spot on too, strong and hot. A solid, no-fuss breakfast.

Cozy spot with a nice view. Staff were friendly. Tried the gluten-free cake, it was good. Prices are a bit high for what you get.

I had the Highland Chicken, which was possibly the best dish I've ever tasted. The service was attentive, making the whole evening truly enjoyable.

Vegan menu is easy to spot. Had the tomato and red pepper soup – really hit the spot on a chilly day. The fries were perfectly crispy and fluffy, just how I like them.

Loved the monkfish and mushroom bruschetta. The fish was so tender, and the mushrooms had this lovely, earthy flavour. Really hit the spot. The rest of the menu looked good too, but that one dish just stood out for me.

Another visit for a family celebration. The prosecco and mocktails were lovely, and the stew was stellar. The cocktail trees are such a fun idea. I always appreciate how comfortable the booths are here, makes the whole evening so much easier.

The duck starter and main were both lovely. But what really stuck with me was the whole vibe of the place. It’s got this cosy, low-lit feel that just makes you want to linger. Perfect for a relaxed evening out.

The steak was spot-on medium and so juicy. Honestly, the best part of my night. Finished with a little whiskey flight, which was a nice touch.

Decent spot for a quiet business dinner. Not obvious from the street - it's up a flight of stairs. The small, cozy setting was good for conversation. Food was fine, service was prompt.

Busy Sunday, they'd run out of the roast. Finley in the kitchen sorted us out with something else. Really appreciated that effort.

Love that they have a garden out back for the dogs. Staff were really chill with our pup, even brought him a water bowl. Made for a relaxed lunch.

Stopped in for a quiet pint. It's a proper old-school pub, really chilled. The WiFi was way faster than I expected, which was handy. Good spot to just sit and be.

The food was really good, and Aimee’s service was lovely—cheerful and spot-on. It’s a chilled spot, clean too. Just a shame the main took a little while, but it was worth the wait.

Cosy pub, nice for a drink after walking around. Had a couple of their cocktails – the espresso martini was solid. Bar's well-stocked, so that's a plus. Just a bit pricey for what it is.

The paella was spot on, just like in Spain. Good to know you can ask for less salt if you prefer.

Been coming here since the 90s and the ingredients still taste so fresh. That's what keeps me coming back.

The bagels are fresh and tasty, and I love the unique green tea with popcorn. The whole place has this relaxed, modern vibe that makes it easy to just sit and enjoy for a while. The lighting is soft, and the wooden tables give it a really warm feel.

Solid gluten-free and vegan menu. Not just a side note. Had the jackfruit tacos, actually good. Felt like a normal meal, not a compromise.

Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends! The vegan margherita pizza was really good - the crust was spot on and the flavours just worked. We ended up sharing a couple of them while we chatted. A solid choice for a relaxed group meal.

Friendly staff and quick service. Got a decent burger and chips for a fair price. Good for a quick lunch.

Lunch was solid. Menu had plenty of options, which I appreciated. Staff stayed friendly even when it got busy. The dessert case looked tempting, but I was too full to try anything. Maybe next time.

The service here really stood out. Suhag was particularly attentive, noticed we needed more water without asking, and had a genuine smile throughout. Made the whole evening feel relaxed.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying a while. It's right on the High Street but somehow feels tucked away and quiet. The caramel slice was spot on, really buttery and not too sweet. A nice little find.
