The breakfast was tasty and fresh, and the coffee was excellent. It's a nice spot after a canal walk.

The steak pie was lovely, the pastry so crisp and the gravy rich. The staff were friendly and the whole meal was just easy and comfortable.

Opens at 6am, ideal for grabbing a lunch sandwich. The coronation chicken roll is fresh and costs about £3. Got it twice now.

Been here a few times. The haggis is solid, tastes like the real deal. Service is decent, they don’t rush you. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, but the place has a proper feel to it.

Their chai latte is homemade. You can really taste the spices, it’s not just sweet. A proper one, not like the syrupy stuff you get elsewhere. A bit pricey, but I’d get it again.

Cosy little spot, perfect for a catch-up with friends. The food had a lovely home-cooked feel.

Nice and clean spot, good for a quiet catch-up. The bright interior makes it feel really welcoming.

Hearty portions and fair prices, just what you need after a long drive. The burger was solid, good meat, nothing fancy. The chips were proper hot and crispy. A reliable spot to fill up.

Good soups and paninis, but the seating is a bit cramped. Coffee's solid though.

Kaiden was really polite and sorted our order perfectly. The food was spot on, but I have to say the lighting was a bit too bright for a relaxed evening. Just felt a bit stark.

The wait was long, but the beef rendang was the reason. The meat just fell apart, and that thick, spiced gravy had a real depth to it. You could taste the hours it took to cook.

Been coming here for years, it's a proper local spot. The lamb curry is always my go-to, rich and tender. The owners remember regulars, makes it feel like home. A bit tight on space, but that's part of the charm.

A solid spot for breakfast. The sourdough with salmon and eggs was nicely done, crispy outside and soft within. Oat milk latte was decent, creamy with a nutty note. A pretty good start to the morning, though the coffee could have been a touch hotter.

The owner is so friendly and made us feel right at home. The food is cooked fresh, which I appreciate, but you do need to be a little patient. The mango lassi was a lovely, refreshing touch while we waited.

A nice little spot. The booths are really comfortable, which makes it easy to settle in for a while.

No bookings, so got there at 5 sharp to grab a table. Pepperoni pizza was spot on, tiramisu was good too. Quick service, perfect for a fast bite.

Just stumbled upon this place a few minutes from the centre. Loved the local, non-touristy vibe. Perfect for catching up with friends over a few small plates. The grilled halloumi was a highlight. A bit on the pricey side, but the atmosphere made it worth it.

Nice spot on Church Street for watching the world go by. Got a sharing platter outside - loads of interesting cheeses and meats. A bit pricey for what it is, but made for a decent light lunch.

Lovely decor, very relaxing. The samosas were delicious, but the portion was a bit small for the price. The Dhansak was different than I'm used to. The real standout was the Hadhcora veg dish, really unique and tasty.

Been coming here for years. It's always quiet, clean, and I can always find a spot to plug in my laptop. Just a reliable place to get some work done over a coffee.

Great spot for a quiet pint and a game of pool. The barman was lovely, had a good chat with him. Ended up playing a few frames with some regulars for a couple of hours - really friendly crowd. Just a nice, easy place to hang out.

The haggis smash burger is a new favourite for me. It's got a really nice texture and flavour, and the view of the river from the table was a lovely bonus. The staff were also super helpful when I asked about ingredients.

Lovely family-run spot, feels genuinely welcoming. The food's full of flavour and cooked beautifully - nothing fussy. Just a really nice, unpretentious place for a meal.
