Staff was helpful with my nut allergy. They checked the kitchen and confirmed the curry sauce is nut-free. That put me at ease. The curry itself was good, not too spicy. A solid choice for a worry-free meal.

Been coming here for years. Their soba is consistently good, and that's why I keep coming back.

Tried their wagashi-making workshop. A nice hands-on experience, and you get tea and a souvenir to take home. Pretty good for something a bit different. The space was a little cramped, but it was fine.

The fish in the sashimi platter was so fresh, it practically melted. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff were all wearing masks too, which was a nice touch.

This Starbucks on FORUS 6F is a nice quiet spot. I like the wood interior, feels calm. Good for a slow coffee alone. The latte was smooth, just right. A bit pricey, but you pay for the peace.

This place has been around forever. Tried the chestnut kintsuba they had for the season. Looked almost too pretty to eat. Tasted good, not too sweet. Just a nice little treat.

The cream anmitsu was pretty good, especially the sweet bean paste. The matcha came in a nice seasonal cup too.

The duck udon was really good. I liked how the broth tasted clean and not too heavy. The duck slices were tender and lean, which was nice. A solid choice if you're looking for something warm and comforting.

This restaurant offers a delightful French cuisine experience at a reasonable price, making it a perfect spot for special occasions.

Super convenient spot, just a few minutes from the station. Had a quick lunch here after getting off the train. The katsu curry was exactly what I needed—crispy and hot. A solid pick for travelers.

Tried the dinner course with wine pairing. The chef really highlights local produce with French technique. First two wines were from a nearby winery—that was a cool surprise. The pairing worked nicely throughout.

Busaku offers an incredible dining experience with a beautifully crafted omakase that showcases the best of Japanese-French fusion. Each dish is a work of art, and the chefs take great pride in their presentation and flavor.

Cozy spot in an old building, feels bright and airy inside. The steak frites were cooked just right, medium-rare as asked. The fries were crispy, not soggy. A nice, simple lunch.

The upstairs area is so much more spacious than it looks from outside. I love the view of the main street from up here. Perfect for just sitting with a coffee and watching the world go by.

The set course meals provide excellent value for their quality, featuring generous portions that are both satisfying and beautifully presented.

A solid neighborhood spot. The curry is always exactly what I expect - warm and comforting. Perfect for catching up with a friend when you just want something familiar and easy.

The food was spot on, especially the grilled mackerel. But the sake list felt a bit steep for what you get. Ordered one carafe and that was enough for me.

The tonkotsu-shoyu ramen was just what I needed on a rainy day. The pork was so tender. The booth seats were really comfortable, which made the whole meal feel very relaxing.

The soy sauce broth was light, and the noodles had a nice chew. I got extra veggies, which made it feel a bit more wholesome for a solo lunch.

The sushi here is solid, especially for the price. The chef's friendly even though he only speaks Japanese. I liked the tuna and the salmon was fresh. Good spot for a quick lunch.

The anmitsu was pretty good, not too sweet. I liked the soy milk ice cream on top. A soothing way to end a meal, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The Matsusaka beef lunch set is good value. The meat quality is solid, even the fat has a sweet flavor.

Wagyu set menu was the move. Beef was incredible. Pricey but you get salad, rice, sides. Left full.

The kuzukiri mochi was smooth and chewy, a nice texture. The sweet potato zenzai was warm. A solid, simple dessert after a business lunch nearby.

The lunch set with three curries was solid, and the naan was fresh. Their house red actually paired quite nicely with the spiced lamb.

Convenient spot inside Kanazawa Station for a quick pre-train bite. Grabbed a savory pastry and a coffee. Selection was decent, though the bread I tried was a bit dry. Got the job done.

Tempura crab leg was crispy and fresh. Had it with a crisp white wine, perfect match. Staff friendly, though service a bit slow on a busy night.

Just tried their canele for the first time. The outside was perfectly caramelized and crisp, while the inside stayed soft and custardy. A real treat with my morning coffee. The bakery itself is cozy and has that French feel.
