First time with the jibuni donburi. The sauce was thick and had a nice sweetness to it. Very filling for the price. The counter seating was comfortable and the staff were pleasant.

The sashimi platter was the main thing. Super fresh, no fishy smell at all. The texture of the tuna and salmon was spot on. That's what I came for. The grilled fish set was decent, but the sashimi was the real highlight.

The oden broth here is so clear and full of flavor. The ingredients feel very fresh and local. I found the seating to be quite comfortable, which made the whole meal very relaxing. The price seemed fair for what you get.

The 50 yen drinks were a nice treat, but I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in the salad.

Been coming here for years. The fig and prosciutto pizza is my go-to. It’s that perfect mix of European style and local Japanese ingredients. Always hits the spot.

The seafood was so fresh, you could taste the sea. They really know how to treat local ingredients. A quiet, thoughtful place that lets the food speak for itself.

A relaxed lunch, and the chef’s explanation of the grilled clams and tuna cheek was a nice touch. The wine pairing suggestion worked well.

Sat at the counter downstairs and went with the à la carte. The Kaga vegetables were the highlight for me – so fresh and crisp. Tried a sake they suggested with it, and it worked really well. A nice, relaxed spot.

Got the last table, so booking is a must. The dishes come out staggered, but it's just one chef working hard back there.

Wood-fired pizza is the real deal here. The crust has that perfect char, and the toppings taste fresh. A bit pricey for the size, but it's good.

The sushi was good, but the real star was the sake pairing. The chef suggested a junmai daiginjo that had this crisp, clean finish. It just clicked with the fatty tuna. Made the whole meal more interesting. A bit pricey for the pour, but worth it for the experience.

Nice rustic vibe inside. The yakisoba was a surprise, noodles were crispy and the flavor was rich. Really hit the spot.

They have a great selection of local sake. The owner lady was really helpful in picking one for me. It was a bit pricier than I expected, but the bottle was a good size for sharing.

Stopped by for lunch. The grilled eel was really good, crispy skin and tender inside. Place is small and quiet, just a few tables. Staff were nice, brought an English menu without asking.

Been here a few times now. The music and the wood inside always make it feel like a chill spot overseas.
