The staff were really nice. They cleared our plates quickly and even helped translate the menu for us. Made ordering a lot easier.

The Merlot was lovely, but I really appreciated the freshness of the ingredients in my salad. The greens were crisp and the vinaigrette was light, just what I look for. A simple, honest meal.

The grilled blackthroat seaperch was the star, cooked just right. They even packed the leftover sea urchin rice into cute onigiri for me to take home. Nice touch.

The sea urchin was the highlight. No fishy taste, just a really rich, creamy texture. The grilled blackthroat seaperch was also huge and perfectly fatty. That's what I come here for.

The fries here are a real treat. They're always perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. I find myself ordering them every time. The staff is friendly and the seating is comfortable, which makes for a relaxed meal.

The pork okonomiyaki was quite nice, but the counter stools were a bit too high for me. I found myself shifting to get comfortable. The squid one was tasty too, though I think I liked the beef a little more.

Charcoal-grilled chicken thigh was my pick. Good flavor, cooked just right. Came out fast too, which is what I needed. Perfect for a quick lunch stop.

The curry was rich and creamy, just how I like it. The pork cutlet stayed wonderfully crispy. The portion was very generous, so I left feeling quite satisfied. The booth seating was comfortable and private, which made for a relaxed meal.

The 6,000 yen course was plenty filling. Their house red was a nice, easy-drinking complement to the meal.

The lunch set with coffee for 800 yen is such a steal! Perfect for a quick catch-up with friends.

A cozy little spot, but it gets packed at lunch. We waited a bit. Good thing I had cash on me—they don't take cards. The house red was a nice, simple pour that went well with the pasta.

Ordering at the sweet bean shop next door and picking up at a separate window is a nice touch. It felt like a little ritual. The monaka itself was lovely, with a crisp shell and not-too-sweet filling. The whole process was very smooth and easy.

The oden platter is a nice way to sample things. The seats are quite comfortable, which made the meal relaxing.

The dumpling set with Kaga Bancha was a good deal for a snack inside the garden. Just needed a quick bite, and this hit the spot without costing too much. Simple and satisfying.

The wagyu short rib rice bowl was a nice surprise. The meat was a bit more rare than I'd usually go for, but honestly? It was so tender and flavorful. Really enjoyed it!

I had a delightful 10-piece sushi course that showcased the finest local ingredients. The attention to detail in preparation was exceptional, making it a memorable meal.

Been here a few times. The crab course is solid, you get sashimi, hotpot, and porridge. Good with a beer. Just call first to see if they're running it that day. Prices can change.

Counter seat was nice. Could watch the chef grill the straw. Pretty quick for lunch.

The kaiseki set was good value for Kanazawa. Tried it on a business trip. Service was efficient, courses came out at a good pace. A solid choice near the station.

Great for a quick bite. The prosciutto pizza was tasty. Jazz music was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years. Owner's always friendly, music's nice and chill. It's my go-to spot after a walk in the castle park. Just a simple, cozy place to unwind.
