The rhubarb cider is very good. Tried it during a quiet weeknight visit. They also do tarot reading events, which is a different touch. Not my usual thing, but it fits the place.

Simple menu, but the food's tasty and prices are fair. It's a proper local spot, always buzzing with friendly faces. Had a decent burger and a pint, just what I needed. Can't fault it for a reliable bite.

The steak and kidney pie was spot on, really good homemade stuff. Ended up having a proper chat with a friendly local bloke about Dover Castle.

Came here twice on holiday. The menu has loads of tasty options, which was great. But I have to say, the portions felt a bit on the small side for the price. Still, enjoyed both evenings.

Fish and chips are cooked fresh, which is good. Portion size is decent for the price. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. Place was clean and tidy. Solid option for a quick, no-fuss meal near the office.

Popped in for a quick bite. The place just feels cosy and warm, you know? Good spot to unwind. Staff were chill, no pressure to hurry up.

Quiz night here was a fun idea. The food was really good and the menu had plenty of choice. Prices felt fair for what you got. Only thing was it got quite warm inside, the aircon seemed to be off.

Been coming here for years for brunch. The portions are always huge, you'll definitely leave full. It's that kind of reliable, hearty spot you can count on.

The seafood paella was spot on, really fresh. The haddock and chips were cooked just right too. Good quality for the price.

A nice spot for a coffee break after exploring the castle. The seats were comfortable and the service was friendly, which was a welcome relief. The price felt fair for the location. It was just what I needed to sit and recharge for a bit.

The fish and chips really are the star here. The batter had a great crunch, and the chips were spot on – properly triple-cooked. The homemade tartare sauce was a nice touch too.

I know that we are living in a financial crisis time but £4 for a white americano. I don't think so. The staff was okay and the place as well. But for sure I won't be coming back with prices like this. Sorry.

Always impressed with how fast and friendly the service is here. The team is just so polite, even when the place is packed. Makes you feel properly looked after.

Pass by many times but this time I have decided to give it a try and do my usual coffee break here. The space is alright, the service was okay and the coffee was good. The atmosphere was not the best but the location compensate. I will come back for another coffee breaks.

Lovely stay at the harbour inn. Our room had a beautiful view right over the water, which was so peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making everything easy. Just what we needed for a quiet break.

The minute steak was pretty good. The pies are decent, too.

Stopped by for a coffee break on a cold but sunny day and it was very nice. I probably would not come back for coffee but in a sunny warm day I would return for a refreshing drink.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb is always spot on. Cooked just right, never overdone. It's the one thing I know I can count on every time.

Been coming here for years. Their calamari and burrata are always spot on. Menu's got the classics but they do a few different things too, which keeps it interesting. Nice for a casual dinner or something a bit more dressed up.

Found this spot when I was nearby. Needed a quick bite. Food came out fast, which was perfect for my lunch break. Quality was solid, not greasy at all. Each dish actually tasted different, which I appreciate. Good for a fast, decent meal.

Coffee was spot on, and the breakfast menu had loads to choose from. Just what I needed this morning.

Been coming here for years. It's the little things that keep me coming back - like the fact the toilets are always spotless. Makes a difference when you're settling in for a few pints. The outside bit out back is a nice bonus on a decent evening.

The chicken korma was spot on. Rich, creamy sauce with just the right amount of spice, and the chicken was incredibly tender. Portions are generous for the price. That's really all I come here for.

A proper family-run spot. The staff are lovely and attentive, which makes it feel personal. The lamb shank was pretty good, though the portion was a touch on the small side for the price. A decent meal overall.

The seafood was fresh and cooked just right. Good to see they've got high chairs for the little ones too.

Lovely traditional pub with a great view of the harbour. The front room is perfect for it.
