The service was fine, they were happy to swap out a couple of things on the set menu for us. It was a decent, relaxed meal. The only thing was that it took a little while to get the bill sorted at the end.

Lovely little spot, the owner was so friendly! He even played a few songs on the guitar while we waited. Made the whole thing feel really cosy and personal. The food was nice too, but that little moment was the highlight for me.

Service was efficient even on a busy Friday night. Staff handled the rush well, no long waits for ordering or the bill. Food came out at a good pace. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The staff are so friendly, they even took the time to chat about the wine list. Felt like a proper welcome.

Love the vibe here, feels like a proper local pub. The owners and chefs have created something really warm and quirky. Just a nice, relaxed spot to unwind.

Came for pizza on a summer evening, sat in the garden. The pizza itself was good, but the portion size felt a bit small for the price. The caramel cheesecake was nice, but again, not a huge slice. Menu is small, which is fine, just wish you got a bit more for your money.

The cod and chips were cooked just right, a proper portion too. Service was quick, which I always appreciate. My only small note is the seating could be a bit more comfortable for a longer visit.

Had a flat white here with a friend. The latte art was so detailed, we just stared at it for a minute before drinking. Coffee itself was really smooth. Perfect spot for a proper catch-up.

Lovely little Italian-run cafe by the sea. Stopped in for a coffee and a slice of cake. What stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The cake tasted like it was made that morning, with really good quality butter and fruit. A nice, simple treat.

The staff were really nice. They even offered to deliver our food for free when we said we were house hunting.

The breakfast was hearty and the price was right. Just a heads up, the outside loos could do with a little TLC.

Matcha was spot on. Just the right balance, not too sweet. That's all I really needed. The place itself feels cosy, like a proper neighbourhood spot.

The Christmas platter had good variety - curry goat, fritters, lobster. Solid value for the price.

Service was spot on, really friendly and quick. The owner even let me sit in the main dining area when it was quiet and offered a tea on the house. A nice touch that made a difference.

Popped in for a flapjack. The place has this old-school charm, really cosy. Staff were nice, chatty. Pancake was spot on, not too sweet. Just a solid, simple stop.

Good spot. My mate comes here every day. The food's always nicely put together. Staff are helpful. That's it.

The pie nights are a highlight, but do call ahead as they're not always on. The ingredients taste wonderfully fresh.

The server was really friendly, just seemed a bit tired. The place is super tiny though, not ideal for a group.

The toffee apple cake was huge, easily enough for two. Coffee & walnut slice was good too, but the apple one was the real value. They do change the selection, so hope it's there next time.

The lamb ribs were excellent, perfectly cooked and very tender. A bit on the pricier side, but the quality was there. Would order them again.

Been coming here for years, and the fact they never charge extra for gluten-free options is a big reason why. It’s just consistent. Had the dairy-free afternoon tea again last week, and it was spot on as usual.

Love that they're so dog-friendly! My pup got some biscuits and settled right in. The butternut squash sandwich was delicious, really hit the spot. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

A proper dog-friendly spot. Our pup got a little treat bowl right away, which was a nice touch. Makes it easy to grab a decent lunch without having to leave him at home. Food was solid, no complaints.
