Came back after the renovation&mdash;place looks fresh but still has that old charm. New owners added some variety to the menu. Solid spot.

Stopped by for a late afternoon break. The interior is really warm, lots of wood and soft light, made me want to stay longer than planned. Had the homemade tiramisu and mint tea with ginger, both were solid. Place has a nice calm vibe, though the chairs are a bit hard after a while. Still, a good find in the old town.

Stopped for one drink, stayed way longer. Right on the square, perfect people-watching spot. Wine was decent, service quick enough. Nothing fancy but it worked.

Excellent food, friendly service. Personally I regret a bit that the typical German cosy interior they had before has been changed in a more &lsquo;trendy&rsquo; style - which at the end makes the ambience less warm, less personal. But that doesn&rsquo;t change anything to the quality of the cooking and they&rsquo;re good choice of wines. I recommend!

The Linzer torte here is proper, not too sweet, really well made. Stollen&#39;s good too, nice and moist. Only thing that bugs me is they only take cash. Who carries cash anymore? Feels stuck in the past. But if you&#39;re in the area and have some euros on you, grab a slice.

We grabbed dinner here before heading back&mdash;burger and pork medallions were both solid. Our waiter was super friendly, kept checking in without hovering. If you can snag a window seat, the Moselle view is really nice. Just a heads up, it got a bit busy later in the evening, but still chill enough to hang out. 😊
