The interior is clean, modern, with that Japanese touch. I sat by the window, nice view of the street. The salmon sashimi was fresh, cut thick. Liked that they didn't drown it in sauce. Just a simple meal, nothing fancy. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion, but the quality of the fish made up for it.

Stopped by for a glass and ended up staying longer than planned. Wine list is solid, staff actually knows what they’re talking about. Food menu’s small but what we tried was good. Prices sting a bit, but you’re paying for quality. Place had a nice buzz without being too loud.

Good wine list to match the steak, which was cooked just right. Fries were solid too. Dog-friendly spot with fair prices.

The veggie dumplings were really good, and the tofu dish had a nice texture. Owner came by and offered a complimentary drink, which was a sweet touch. Place felt welcoming, nothing fancy but comfortable. I'd go back for the dumplings again.

The grilled fish was the highlight. Flaky, smoky, just the right amount of salt. Ate it all before the boat even stopped rocking.

Stopped by for a coffee and a slice of cake. The cappuccino was good, and the homemade cake tasted fresh. I liked that I could just sit and take my time without anyone rushing me. It does get a bit crowded on weekends, but I found a quiet corner anyway. Nice little place to unwind.

The salmon nigiri was fresh, decent cut. Fries were unexpectedly solid, crispy. Only cards accepted, no cash. That caught me off guard but whatever. Sushi itself had good flavor, rice was seasoned well. Not the best I've had but fine for a quick stop.

Stopped here on the way through and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, no complaints there. I had a glass of local red with my meal, decent pour and it paired nicely with the pork. Service was friendly enough, nothing over the top. A solid spot if you're passing by and need a proper sit-down meal.

Stopped by for the schnitzel special. Solid portion for the price, though the sauce was a bit much on the side. Lunch menu has options for most budgets. Place was quiet when I went, so no complaints there. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

Pinsa Burrata on Friday, €18 with an Aperol. Solid deal. Dough was light, burrata creamy. Service kept it simple, no fuss. Place got busy later but we were fine. Good enough to go back for that deal alone.

The goose and duck were really good, probably the best I've had in a while. We went for a birthday dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender and full of flavor. Service was friendly too, which I always appreciate. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but it didn't ruin the meal.

The cakes are really good and the place has that classic old-school feel. Just bring cash, they don't take cards. Prices are a bit steep though.

Came here on a whim and honestly the pho did the job. Broth was rich, noodles cooked right. Adding the fresh chili and extra herbs made it even better. Tried one of the tropical shakes too, pretty solid. Place is nothing fancy but the food speaks for itself.

Stopped by for lunch near the uni. Got the sushi set, and honestly, the portion was a bit small for the price. Tasted fresh though, and the staff were friendly. Fine if you're not starving, but I'd probably order extra rolls next time. Decent spot overall for a quick bite.

The Phoenicia mezza was the highlight — so many little dishes to share. Service stayed friendly even though the place was packed. Definitely book ahead for weekends, it gets busy.

The schnitzel was solid and the portion felt right for the price. I grabbed the blueberry ice cream after—pretty good, not too sweet. Place was busy but I didn’t wait long. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The pasta was solid, and the staff were genuinely cool. Service stayed quick even when it got busy.

Ordered takeout. Food was solid, veggies fresh, meat cooked right. They even gave us drinks while waiting. Nice touch.

We keep coming back to this place every year for Balkan food in Cologne. Portions are huge for the price. Staff was friendly too.

The beef offal pot was huge—three of us shared it easily. Pickled peppers gave it that proper kick. Right by the cathedral, so super handy for a quick bite. 😋

Been here a few times late at night when nothing else is open. Shawarma holds up every single time. They take cards too, which is handy.

The mocktails were actually really good, not too sweet. Outdoor seating is nice for people-watching, though the chairs could be more comfy.

The sundubu jiggae here is consistently good, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to what you'd pay in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Had the schnitzel and it was decent—crispy, not greasy. Portion was generous, could barely finish it. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t rush us even though it got busier later. Place has that rustic farmhouse feel, pretty cozy. Fine for a casual meal if you’re in the area.
