Got a table last minute on a busy Saturday, which was appreciated. Staff were efficient and polite. The ribeye was cooked as requested, tender and flavourful. A solid, reliable option for a business dinner in the area.

It's a handy spot just a short walk from the station, perfect for a bite before your train. The food was pretty good, decent portions for the price. Service was fine, though a little slow that evening.

Been coming here for years. The set menu's a solid deal. I usually get the leggera pizza with salad, it's a nice lighter option. Always tasty, service is quick and friendly.

Came here for New Year's Eve. They started us off with a glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The tables had a good spread of meats and cheeses to nibble on. It was a relaxed, friendly evening - the karaoke was fun without being too loud or overwhelming.

Been here a few times now. The sausages are always spot on, not greasy at all. Pizzas are solid, simple, and just what you want. Staff are friendly, place is relaxed. Good for a straightforward meal.

Great spot for a sunny afternoon! The outdoor seating at the back was lovely, and the little play area kept my friend's toddler happy for ages. We just had drinks, but the garden felt really relaxed.

The food arrived steaming hot, which I really appreciated. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Portions are generous for the price. A solid choice if you're watching your budget but still want a decent meal.

A reliable takeaway spot for us. The portions are generous, easily two meals. Flavours are pretty good.

The service was really nice and friendly. It's a good change from all the fried food places around here.

Been coming here for years, and the carvery's always spot on. The turkey's never dry, and the Yorkshire puddings are always generous. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Great spot for gluten-free options. Everything we ordered was safe and tasted good. A couple of dishes had a nice spicy kick to them. Service was quick and efficient, which I appreciate.

Been here a few times. The lamb shank is always spot on, falls right off the bone. Service is quick and friendly, never had to wait long. Good spot for a reliable meal.

Nice spot for a special dinner. The view over the river is lovely. Food was pretty good, especially the sea bass. A bit on the pricey side, but the service was attentive.

Ate in the restaurant side, very calm. What stood out was the freshness of the ingredients in my salad. The greens were crisp, the vegetables tasted like they were just picked. A simple thing, but it makes a difference for a healthy meal.

The food is always good here. I really like how quickly they bring your order, makes for a relaxed meal.

Great vibe with the live guitarist playing rock tunes. Ended up staying for an extra round.

Interesting menu with loads of choice. The 'build your own' sharing plates were a fun idea. My table went for the grilled halloumi and the lamb skewers, both solid. The flatbread was a bit dry though. Still, a good spot for a casual group meal.

Stumbled upon this spot on a walk. The cheese and onion pie was really good, and the price was decent.

Came here for a quick coffee and ended up staying for a steak. The beef was cooked just right, really tasty. But honestly, for the portion size, the price felt a bit steep. Good spot, but you're paying for the location.

The lamb was so tender, and the wine pairing suggested by the server really brought out its flavour. The red cabbage side was a standout too.

First time trying shatkora lamb here, and it was spot on. The meat was so tender and fell right off the bone. Really enjoyed that unique, slightly bitter citrus flavour from the shatkora. A proper taste of something different.

Been coming here for years, and Nina always remembers my usual order. That kind of consistent, friendly service is what keeps me coming back.

The lamb shank was the standout. Cooked for hours, it fell apart with just a fork. The red wine sauce was rich and deep, not too sweet. Portion was generous. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the meat itself, but the sauce covered it.

The full English breakfast is a good deal. Sausages had a nice snap, the bacon was properly crispy, and the black pudding was spot on. The beans were a bit too sweet for my taste, but the eggs were cooked just right. Solid portion for the price.

Came by for a quick lunch. The haddock was fried just right, batter was light and not oily. Chips were crispy and the portion was decent. Hit the spot.

A lovely dog-friendly pub in the heart of Keswick. The staff were so welcoming, even for our walk-in group with a pram. The atmosphere is warm and the pub itself is clean and cozy.

The lamb shank was the standout. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour from the red wine sauce, and the mash underneath soaked it all up perfectly. A proper, hearty dish.

The waitress was absolutely on it, really knew her stuff. Suggested a local ale that went perfectly with the hearty steak pie. Portions are generous, proper pub food. Service like that is a rare treat these days.
