Bronwen and Robert are so lovely. They remembered my name from last time and chatted about the wine list. It&#39;s that kind of warm, genuine service that just puts you at ease the moment you walk in.

The chicken tenders here are pretty good, some of the best I&#39;ve had in a while. The basket is a decent portion. It&#39;s a nice, relaxed spot and they&#39;re dog-friendly too, which is a plus.

Sunday roast at the pub. The beef was cooked just right, really tender and flavourful. Proper Yorkshire puddings too. Felt like a solid, classic British meal, exactly what you want on a weekend.
