The breakfast spread here is really good. Lots of hot options and the ingredients tasted fresh. Morning staff were friendly too. I tried dinner once and it was okay, but not quite the same level. The menu sounds interesting but the execution felt a bit off. Stick to breakfast if you're in the area.

The salmon burger was pretty good—juicy, well-sauced. Staff were friendly, even cracked a few jokes. Plenty of space right by the docks. Decor's a bit odd with the pipe theme, but not a dealbreaker. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Grilled herring and matjes were super fresh, honestly some of the best I’ve had. Fried potatoes with bacon on the side? Yes please. Simple food, no fuss, exactly what I wanted. Place is small and got busy fast, but that just made it feel lively. Good spot to grab dinner with friends if you don’t mind a bit of a wait 🙂

Double-cooked beef was solid. Same quality as the old Yam Yam near the station. Prices a bit steep for takeout though. Ingredients tasted fresh.

The antipasti plate really stood out to me. Fresh ingredients, nicely arranged, and the garlic pesto bread was a good call to go with it. Prices felt fair for what you get. I'd go back just for that plate again. Maybe not the quietest spot, but the food made up for it.

The Jäger Schnitzel was solid. Breaded just right, mushroom gravy actually had flavor. Königsberger Klopse tasted homemade. Portions are big.

Came here for a quick Asian buffet fix. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty enough. Parking right outside is a plus. Ended with the chocolate fondue and some ice cream, that part was pretty nice. Place gets busy around noon but it's fine.

Decent lunch spot. Menu's reasonably priced and they serve until 5pm, even Saturdays. Pretty good for a hearty meal.

The cocktails here are solid and they’ve got a decent beer list. Prices are a bit steep though—I paid almost 9 euros for a drink. Still, the music was good and the crowd seemed friendly enough. Not somewhere I’d go every weekend, but fine for a night out if you don’t mind spending a little extra.

Nice place for coffee and cake. Marzipan cake was really good, Americano did the job. Service got a bit slow when it got busy, but prices are fair for the area.

Lively place with a real American vibe — TVs at the bar and a robot bringing food to the bigger tables. Kinda fun to watch, even if you're just there for a quick bite.

Been coming here for a while now, and the food stays consistent. That grilled meat with the herb sauce is still my go-to. Service was good, though it did get a bit busy later in the evening. The tea was a nice touch on a cold day. Not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for.

Went for the Sunday brunch last week. The Mediterranean spread was solid—olive oil actually tasted fresh, not the cheap stuff. Owner came by our table and talked about slow food for a bit, that was nice. Place was pretty relaxed, no rush. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I left full.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Cooked properly, tender, not rubbery. The seasoning was spot on. Portion size is decent for the price. The rest of the meal was fine. Slightly slow service, but I wasn't in a rush. I'd come back for that octopus alone.

Came for the pizzas, waited maybe 15 minutes even though it wasn’t packed. Dough had that nice char, toppings were generous. Place itself is a bit tired, and yeah, you’ll smell like the kitchen afterwards. But the pie was solid, so I can’t complain much. Would grab a table outside if the weather cooperates.

Been coming here for a while now. Sushi is still solid for what you pay. Parking’s a bit of a pain, but they get you in and out fast and the staff remembers you. That’s why I keep going back.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The view is the main thing here, right on the water. Food's standard pub fare, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Service was friendly enough. Just sat there watching the boats for a while. Fine if you're not expecting much more than that.

Been coming here for years now. The soups stay consistent—flavorful, not overly salty, toppings always fresh. That cheesecake though, seriously underrated. Yeah there's usually a line but it moves quick enough. Kind of part of the routine at this point.

Tucked away in a quiet street, maybe 10-15 min from the center. Food was solid, service really on point. Place got packed fast though, so better book ahead.

The chicken burger here really stood out. Patty was juicy, clearly fresh — not one of those frozen things. Fries were solid too, crispy enough. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Only thing, prices are a bit steep for a casual burger spot. Still, I'd take this over the usual fast food chains any day.

Came here for the view from upstairs—watched the ships roll by while sipping a glass of wine. That alone was worth it. They’ve got bottles to take home too, prices are decent. Service was friendly, no complaints. Just a solid spot to kill an hour or two.

Stopped by for a few beers and a pizza. The hazy IPAs are really solid, probably the best thing they pour. Around 20 taps, mostly their own stuff. Pizza works fine as a sidekick, nothing fancy. Kitchen got a bit slow once it filled up, but we weren't in a rush. Fine spot if you're into craft beer.

Food was decent, drinks list is huge. Good spot to watch a game with friends. Service was alright, nothing special but didn't ruin anything. I'd probably come back if someone suggested it, just wouldn't go out of my way.

The gyros here is seriously good - juicy and tender, never dry. Best I've had in Germany in ages. Plus the price is totally fair for what you get. 😊

Had the Labskaus yesterday. Honestly pretty solid - beets and herring worked well together, mashed potatoes were creamy. Portion was generous, left full. Place has that rustic Hamburg vibe, wooden tables, no fuss. Only thing: service took a while to get the bill. But the food made up for it.
