Leonardo was super friendly and his English was great, made ordering easy. The service was on point, really appreciated it.

Popped in for an espresso and a croissant. The space is really cozy, with these old wooden chairs and soft lighting. It felt like a nice little escape from the street for a bit. The croissant was flaky and buttery.

Been coming here for years after late shifts. That weekend late-night opening is a lifesaver. Just a short, quiet walk from the S. Elisa gate, it's always my reliable spot for a proper meal when everything else is closed.

The little osteria feels like a family home. You can see the care in the simple pasta dishes, the way the nonna in the kitchen watches over everything. It’s just a quiet, genuine feeling.

Decent all-you-can-eat spot. The sushi is pretty good for the price, and I liked that they had some other options too.

Aperitivo hour here is a must. The snack platter that comes with drinks is generous, almost a meal. I had a glass of their house red, a simple Sangiovese that paired nicely with the salty meats. A solid spot to unwind.

A solid local spot in Lucca. Service was efficient, no fuss. Prices are fair for the quality. The pasta was good, though the portion was a bit smaller than expected. Not a tourist trap, which is a plus.

Came for coffee and ended up staying past sunset. The evening light through the windows was so soft and calming. Just a really nice, quiet spot to unwind.

Had lunch at Des Arts for no other reason than it was there when we walked by at the right time. It was so good that we went back 2 days later for dinner and the owner remembered us and treated us like long lost friends. Terrific food, friendly attentive staff, lovely location, reasonably priced, and interesting/very tasty wine recommendations. All in all it was our favorite meal in Lucca

I highly recommend Ristorante Stephani. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, with high quality ingredients. The chef is very talented.

The gluten-free pizza is solid, especially for a central location. Service handled our mixed order efficiently.

The pay-for-what-you-drink wine system is a nice touch. Main courses are reasonably priced, from €8 to €15.

Handmade tortelli with ragù was the move. Pasta itself was really nice, filling was delicate. Sauce paired well with it. That's what I'll remember.

The gelato was so creamy, just the right texture. I tried a few flavors and each one really stood out.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my morning coffee with a delicious sandwich, a nice start to the day.

This incredible restaurant was situated in the heart of the walled city. It served “Tucsan style dishes which didn’t disappoint. The management and waiter staff were very attentive and helped us make perfect choices of various courses, mailing the experience much more pleasurable. The wine list was fantastic! It was a night of local dining that won’t be forgotten. When traveling to the walled city of Lucca, do not miss this gem of a restaurant.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The grilled octopus was really tender, and the service was spot-on—knew exactly when to check in. Wine list is small but solid, had a nice glass of white with it.

Been coming here for years, and the cornetti are always spot on. Flaky, not too sweet, perfect with a coffee. It’s my go-to for a quick bite before work. Never disappoints.

Solid sushi train spot with the all-you-can-eat deal. The space feels really open and airy, which I liked. Never left hungry, that's for sure.

A cozy spot between Lucca and Pistoia. Had a relaxed lunch here, the vibe is very welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel effortless. The food was good, portions were just right. A nice, comfortable place.

Found this little spot by chance. The starters are huge, we could barely finish them! Everything tasted fresh, like it was just made. Staff were on point, really friendly.

The food was elegant and delicious, a huge surprise given its location on the main square. The service was the best we've ever experienced.

Convenient spot near the station. The tonkatsu was crispy and juicy, really hit the spot after a long trip. The miso soup was a bit too salty for my taste though. Cozy vibe inside.

Nice spot in the Lucca countryside. Good for a family dinner. The seafood felt traditional, the atmosphere was authentic. A solid choice if you're in the area.

Came here for an early dinner. The food was really good, especially the pasta. Tried a local wine from their list, it paired nicely. A bit on the pricier side, but the quality is there.

Came for the first time and really liked the cold antipasti selection. The mortadella was super fresh, and the olives had a nice kick. Good spot for a casual glass of wine too.

Came here for an aperitivo with friends last night. The vibe was so lively, we ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting and watching the world go by. Perfect spot to catch up. 🍹

The truffle pasta here is the real deal. They don't skimp on the truffle shavings at all, you get a generous amount on every plate. It's rich and earthy, exactly what you want from a truffle dish. The homemade pasta itself has a great texture, holds the sauce perfectly.
