I booked the restaurant because it was recommended in my guide and I am glad I did. Despite being busy, the service was very quick, and they even offered us a little Thai soup when our samosas took longer than expected. The food smelled and tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend but make sure you book a table as it was full.

The grilled chicken salad never disappoints, and that ocean view from the balcony is why I keep coming back.

Waited nearly an hour for the seafood platter and garlic squid. Food was tasty once it showed up, no complaints there. The maracuja juice really stood out though. Just wish they'd told us about the wait upfront. Would've grabbed a drink at the bar instead of standing around.

The grilled steak with green pepper sauce was actually really good — cooked just how I asked and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Didn’t expect much from a random pick, but it hit the spot. Simple meal, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I’d come back for that steak.

The tuna in Madeiran style was spot on again. Place is a bit old-school but clean, and the staff still treat you right. Consistent every time I drop by.

I booked this bistro based on the reviews and what a delight! We shared the shrimp, which was recommended, for starters, followed by the fish of the day - tuna and cod with onions, a tomato rice (very yummy) and salad as sides. Everything was very tasty, amazing! Staff very friendly and spoke great English.

Stopped here after the botanical garden. Way quieter than those spots by the cable car, and cheaper too. Just had a coffee and sat for a bit. View's just as nice honestly. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Good spot if you want a break without the tourist crowd.

The swordfish tacos were really good, and I loved the Portuguese twist on tapas. Nice to find a kitchen open till 11pm too.
