Let me start by saying I am married to a Japanese, that we are true International foodies and often travelling to Japan obviously for the past 20yrs as a couple . We had the Kaiseki menu (degustation, 5-6 dishes for 88€) not only the food quality and tastes were amazing (as well as quantity), service was spotless, and the quality/price ratio is also quite good compared to another “premium” Asian (hotel) restaurant not very far that we tried the day before and left a little disappointed. The wine selection was also quite good and reasonably priced for a very nice Duro white wine. We agreed this meal was one of our top 10 Japanese restaurants experience ever, so we cannot recommend it enough. This is definitely a top Madeiran restaurant on the 16th floor of the Savoy Palace hotel so dressing accordingly is recommended to fully enjoy this very nice culinary experience.Restaurante Fora d'Oras

Fair prices for the quality and rather large portions. We ended up dining here more than once. Would recommend!
