Ethan, Mark and Emily were brilliant during the lunch rush - super friendly and kept things moving.

The squid starter was fresh and tasty, but the portion was a bit small for the price. The beef brisket main was good, but again, I was hoping for a bit more on the plate for what we paid.

The cheesecake was a highlight. Ordered one for a colleague's birthday lunch. It was rich and not overly sweet, which the whole table appreciated. Good portion size for sharing.

The staff really knew their stuff about allergies. I asked about dairy-free options and they checked everything thoroughly, even offered to tweak a sauce. Felt safe ordering, which isn't always the case.

Stumbled upon this place in Truro. The Nepalese food is packed with flavour, a nice change. Owner knows his stuff.

Fresh fish and chips. Curry sauce was spot on. Big portion, good price. Ate outside, simple and nice. Solid.

First time here and the Chicken Pan Asia was a real standout. So tender, the flavours just came together perfectly. A nice find in the area.

They squeezed us in last minute, even with the dog. The nasi goreng was spot on. Music did get a bit much later though.

The Sunday carvery was the standout. The roast beef was cooked just right, and the Yorkshire puddings were spot on.

The chicken jalfrezi was tasty, and the soy sauce chicken pieces were nice too. What really stood out was the service—our server was so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It made for a very relaxed, comfortable meal.

Been coming here for years, and that bacon, Brie, and cranberry toastie is the one thing I always order. It's just consistently spot on. The place is always clean, which is a plus.

Popped in for a quick bite while in Penzance. The vibe is quirky and fun, just what I was hoping for. The staff were really lovely, which made the whole thing feel relaxed. A nice little spot.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. The scampi from the kids menu was surprisingly good, and the portions are decent. Love the self-serve drinks, makes it super fast. The back seating area is a nice quiet spot.

Right by the harbour, so the seafood is incredibly fresh. The menu changes daily, which I love. The whole place just feels light and airy, perfect for a relaxed lunch.

The Massaman curry with tofu was so good – really rich and creamy. They were great about my egg allergy, which I always worry about. Got it to go, and the 10-minute wait was just right for a little stroll down to the water.

Came for the Valentine's special menu. The themed decorations were nice. The food was good, service was fine. But for the price of the set menu, I expected a bit more on the plate. Portions felt a little small for what we paid.

Gave the fish and chips a go. The batter was super crispy, not greasy at all, and the fish inside was spot on. That's a proper pub classic done right. Couldn't ask for more.

Lovely old pub with a real fire. Had the seafood platter - everything tasted so fresh, you could tell it was local. Service was spot on, they were really on it. Just what you need on a chilly night.

Friendly staff, no reservation needed on a Tuesday night. They squeezed us in at a busy time, no fuss. Appreciated that.

Popped in for a pint of their real ale. What stood out was how fresh it tasted, not heavy at all. The staff mentioned they rotate the casks regularly, which I really appreciate. A nice, straightforward spot for a well-kept drink.

Lovely ploughman's lunch. The Cornish cheeses were a real treat, especially with that fresh bread. The homemade coleslaw had a nice crunch to it. Could've sat there all afternoon.

Booked ahead, glad we did. It was packed on a Saturday evening. The grilled salmon was the highlight for me – cooked just right, and the seasonal vegetables on the side tasted incredibly fresh. You can really tell they focus on quality ingredients. The wait for the food was a little longer than expected, but it was worth it for that freshness.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are still as generous as ever. You definitely get what you pay for. It's one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

The fish finger sandwich is a solid choice. Really generous portion, good quality fish. The grilled veggies inside add a nice bit of texture. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Got a table upstairs by the window. The view over St Ives harbour while we ate was lovely, really made the lunch. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and fresh fish. A bit pricey for what it was, but you're paying for that view I suppose.

Burgers are solid here. Good variety for all diets, and everything tastes fresh. The patty was cooked just right, not greasy. A reliable spot for a quick business lunch near the office.

Really liked the vibe in the back dining room, felt cosy. The fish and chips was spot on—crispy batter and proper chunky chips. Parking right across the road was a lifesaver too.

Booked weeks ahead, and honestly, the wait was justified. That seafood platter was the star - the scallops were cooked just right, and the prawns were huge. The place had a nice buzz, not too loud. Service was on point, no complaints there.
