Stopped by for lunch last week. Owners actually came over to chat a bit, not just the usual "everything okay?" routine. Felt like a proper family place. They even brought out some water for the dog without us asking. Food was decent, nothing fancy, but you can tell they put care into it. Place was a bit quiet for a Tuesday though.

The buffet had a good spread and the food was still warm when we went. Jesmond and the team looked after us well. Comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

The Guinness here is properly poured, that’s for sure. Kilkenny’s a decent backup if you want something lighter. Service stayed quick and friendly even when the place filled up, which surprised me. Only thing is the seating near the window is a bit cramped, but I’d still grab a pint here again.

The chicken here is properly done — skin actually crunchy, meat still juicy. Seasoning’s on point, not salty like a lot of places. I’ve had worse at spots that charge more. Just wish they’d give a bit more sauce on the side. Solid if you’re in the area and craving something simple.

The service at ION Harbour was impeccable, with staff being warm and attentive throughout our meal. The atmosphere was lively yet refined, perfect for enjoying the stunning views of Valletta Harbour.

Grabbed a wrap from the food market spot — fresh and pretty tasty. Smoothie was good too. Staff were nice, prices fair. Nothing fancy but solid.

Love picking your own slices here. Crust stays crispy every time, toppings are generous. Bit pricey for what you get, but it does the job.

The service at Aki was attentive and friendly, with staff like Achraf going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience. The overall vibe is trendy and inviting.

The tuna tartare was spot on, beautifully plated too. Abhishek took good care of us, even threw in a limoncello at the end. Solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Chicken gyros was meh and our beers came warm, but the staff sorted the bill mix-up fast. Fine for a casual catch-up.

Cozy little spot, honestly the vibe is what got me. Dim lights, kinda quirky decor, felt like we stumbled into someone's living room. I only grabbed a drink and the arancini, which were crispy and still gooey inside. Place was a bit quiet for a Friday, but that just made it easier to chat. Would come back for the atmosphere alone.

We came for my birthday and the mezze platter was solid, lobster pasta too. Service stayed on point even with the place full. Been here a few times now, still consistent.

The seafood platter here was properly fresh. Octopus and prawns tasted like they came straight out of the water. Portion was generous too. Only thing is the place gets packed, so you might wait a bit for your food. But the fish itself? That's what I came for.

The seafood spaghetti had a real garlic punch, but the fresh fish still came through. Tiramisu was huge and rich. Pricey, though.

The sea view really does most of the work here 🌊 Sashimi was fresh and lovely, but the sushi itself fell a bit flat. Service dragged even though it wasn’t busy.

Stopped by for a quick weekday lunch and the grilled chicken salad really stood out. Greens were crisp, not wilted, and the dressing was light. Portion felt decent for the price. Service was polite, no fuss. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The grilled sea bass was really fresh, flaky and light. I appreciate that they didn't drown it in sauce. Just a bit of lemon and olive oil. The wait was a little long but the quality made up for it. I'd come back for the fish alone.

Best kebab I’ve had in a while. They even let us try some traditional tea and coffee on the house. Staff were friendly too.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a seat upstairs. The place has that warm, lived-in feel, not too polished. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and was happy the greens were actually fresh, not the sad wilted stuff you sometimes get. Dressing was light, too. Service took a bit, but the staff were nice about it. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The seafood platter during happy hour is the move. Fish came out properly cooked, not dry, and that sauce they serve with it is the real highlight. Price felt right for what you get. Service was fine, but honestly I was too busy eating to care much about that.

The Sunday roast that went past our table looked unreal, so I kinda wished I'd ordered that instead 😅 my chicken was solid though, juicy and cooked right. Place had a proper cozy feel, good for hanging out with friends. Service was friendly too. Would come back for that roast.

Happy hour here is legit. Good deals on cocktails, came back three nights in a row while on holiday. Bartender remembered our order by day two.

Food’s still good and portions are solid for what you pay. Been coming here a while now, staff actually remember you which is kinda nice for a quick catch-up with friends.
