Came for dinner after seeing the reviews. Carbonara was properly rich and creamy, exactly what I wanted. The fish of the day was decent too, flaky and fresh. Sat under the trees which was a nice break from the noise. Only thing—service was a bit slow between courses, but the food made up for it.

The tagliatelle with truffle was the real standout—fresh pasta, actually homemade, not the usual dried stuff. Had the pistachio ice cream after, which was a nice way to finish. Jazz playing quietly in the background made it feel a bit more special than your average spot. Would come back just for that pasta again.

Had the grilled octopus last night. Properly charred outside, soft inside, not rubbery at all. Best one I've had around here in a long while. Place was busy but we got a table quick. No complaints.

The lunch set here is solid — main dish plus a drink for 10 euros. I had the grilled fish and it came with a decent portion of veggies. Fish was fresh, not overcooked. For that price in this area, pretty fair. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Would come back if I'm nearby and want something light.

The pastizzi here are the real deal. Crust flaked apart the second I bit in, proper buttery layers. Ricotta filling was still hot, well seasoned. A local swore these were the best in Malta and honestly I can't argue with that. Just wish they had more than one type left when I got there.

The San Francisco pizza was so good, my friend and I basically fought over the last slice 😅 Garden Lover was solid too, even for me and I’m not even vegetarian. Nice to finally find a spot in Malta that doesn’t just give you a sad margherita as the only meat-free option. We stayed way longer than planned just chatting, no one rushed us.

Popped in for a quick bite yesterday. Pastizzi were still warm, flaky, just right. Place gets busy around noon but moves fast. Price is fair for what you get. Not fancy, but you don't need fancy for a decent snack. I'll be back when I'm in the area.

The crispy beef and crispy duck are the standouts here—lots of sauce, really flavourful. Steamed dim sum was nothing special, but anything with "crispy" in the name is a safe bet. I’d skip the dumplings next time and just double up on the duck.

Owners were really thoughtful—packed us chocolates for the road and mentioned a discount for next time. Pretty good service, made us want to come back.

Pizza was solid—crispy base, fresh toppings. Free appetizers while you wait are a nice touch too. Place gets busy but worth it.

Tucked away in Sliema, easy to walk past. Had the spicy prawn starter, decent kick. Mains were solid, nothing fancy but cooked right. Staff let us take our time. Fair for what you get.

Decent sushi spot. Fish was fresh, and they had a few rolls I hadn’t seen elsewhere. The sweet Japanese wine was a nice touch too. Service was fine, pretty attentive. Only thing is it’s a bit pricey for what you get, but I’d probably come back.

Seared tuna with caponata was fresh, well-executed. Staff friendly enough. Wine list is limited, but fine for a quick business dinner.

The staff handled my gluten allergy without any fuss, which I appreciated. Chicken and sweetcorn soup is genuinely the best I've had. Food's been consistent every time I've visited.

Solid local pub, decent beer selection and the prices are fair for the area. Staff were friendly too. Good spot for a quick pint after work.

Lovely space and the juices are spot on — went with a fresh orange and it paired nicely with my eggs. Brunch was easy on the wallet too. Maybe a touch busy but fine.

The tripe stew (Kirxa) here is proper Maltese. Slow-cooked, rich, and not something you see on many menus anymore. I ordered it with a side salad to balance things out. Portion was generous for the price. My only small gripe—the bread that came with it was a bit stale. But the stew itself? That’s what I’d come back for.

The reshda with lamb was the highlight for me—tender, spiced just right. A glass of their house red paired surprisingly well with the mezze too. Solid spot for authentic Libyan food in town.
