Been coming here for a while now. Service stays friendly and quick, that's why I keep coming back. Food's okay, not always consistent, but the staff makes up for it.

The hazelnut cake was the standout. Dense, nutty, not too sweet. Coffee was fine, nothing special. They rotate the pastry selection, so I'd come back to see what else shows up.

The scrambled eggs with sucuk were a good portion for the price. Cappuccino was done right as well. Nice spot for a relaxed breakfast. Seats were comfortable enough to sit and take my time. Only thing was the service was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a rush.

Quick coffee turned into a longer stop. Banana bread was solid, cakes looked homemade. Service fast enough for a lunch break.

The interior is really nicely done — lots of little details that make it feel cozy. I had a slice of their cake and it was properly good, not too sweet. Service was friendly but there was a bit of a wait for everything. Guess that’s what happens when it’s busy. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The apple cream cake was the standout. You can actually taste real ingredients, not just sugar. Generous slice, cinnamon rolls were solid too. Cozy local spot, but honestly I only care about the baking. It delivers.

The cakes here are really rich and creamy, just the way I like them. Cozy little place, very traditional feel. I sat by the window and watched people walk by, didn't want to leave. Maybe a bit busy in the afternoon, but that's fine.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed the breakfast for two. Portion was solid for the price — good meats, cheese, fresh bread. Service was friendly and fast enough. Coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but not a dealbreaker. Fine spot if you're in a hurry and want something decent.

The cocktails were nice, but honestly the service took forever. Food was okay, nothing special. Maybe just an off night for them.

Food was solid, drinks were good too. Service though—took forever to clear the table and even longer to get our order in. Place was busy, but still. Decent spot if you're not in a hurry.

Decent breakfast buffet, especially on weekends. Good spread from eggs to pastries, coffee was fine. Gets pretty crowded though, so come early.

Stopped by for a cappuccino and honestly, the aroma alone was worth it. Nice little corner to sit and watch people go by. Service was friendly without hovering. Prices are a touch steep, but you're paying for that quality. Would've liked a bit more foam, but that's me being picky. A solid pit stop if you're in the area and need a proper espresso fix.

Best coffee I had in Dortmund, hands down. Tried a few different brews over multiple visits, all solid. Cinnamon bun with a flat white is the move.

Stopped by for a coffee and the service was quick, friendly as always. Just a solid spot if you're in the area and need a caffeine fix. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Breakfast here is my go-to in Herne, and the burgers are pretty solid too. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but the food makes up for it.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the homemade rolls were the highlight. Fresh, warm, no fuss. Owner was nice but service moves at its own pace — not ideal if you're in a hurry. I'd come back for the bread alone, just not when I'm short on time.

The staff were friendly and spoke English, which helped a lot since I don't speak German. Breakfast was fresh and portions were generous. Coffee was solid too.

Came here on a weekday afternoon, mostly to get some work done. The vibe is pretty laid-back, not too loud, which I appreciated. Had a latte and it was solid, nothing mind-blowing but fine. Plenty of vegan options on the menu too, though I didn't try them this time. Seats are comfy enough to stay a while.

The vegan raspberry cake was pretty dense, not gonna lie. But the coffee was solid and the place had a chill vibe. Good spot to sit with a laptop for a bit. I'd probably come back for the coffee more than the cake though.

Nice spot right by the botanical garden. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Tea list had decent variety. Sat outside for a bit, good place to recharge after walking around. Prices fair for what you get. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Open on Sundays—that's a real plus. Had the vegetariana pizza, it was solid. Cozy inside, bathrooms clean. Good spot if you're in the area.

The currywurst was decent, but the pancakes really stood out. Sat on the terrace for some people-watching—pretty good spot. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up grabbing a slice of the raspberry cake. Looked almost too nice to eat. Fresh, not too sweet, really good. Place was a bit busy but fine. If you're into cakes, this one's worth checking out.

The coffee was solid and the space is genuinely cozy—good for sitting around a while. Portions felt generous for what you pay.

Loved the chocolate cheesecake with my flat white—such a good combo. Place gets a bit chaotic when it’s busy, but the coffee made up for it.

Stopped by for breakfast last week. Avocado toast was solid—good bread, decent amount of topping. Service friendly without hovering. Prices fair for what you get. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would come back if in the area.

Had lunch here right under the church. Got the schnitzel and it was pretty solid, crispy and not too greasy. Place was busy but we found a table quickly. Only thing is the service was a bit slow, but the vibe made up for it. Would come back if I'm in the area again.
