Stumbled in soaked from the rain. Staff were sound, made us feel welcome straight away. Food was close to what I've had in Spain, which says a lot. Cocktails were a nice touch too. Proper little find in Westport.

Coffee was way better than I expected, honestly better than some spots in Germany. Staff were friendly, breakfast did the job. Nice little find.

Big portions and the food was proper fresh. Jasmine tea came in a massive pot for 2 quid, can't complain. Chairs were cute too. Ate way too fast to grab a pic of the food, only got the empty plates.

The featherblade beef was unreal. Properly tender, fell apart with the fork, and the flavour was spot on. I’m still thinking about it days later. Place was busy enough but we got seated fine. Only thing is the sides were a bit small for the price. But honestly, the beef alone makes me want to go back.

The house Cabernet was a solid pick, and the 12-inch pizza had a proper crispy crust. Felt like a spot locals actually hit up, not a tourist trap. Good for a casual catch-up with friends 🍷

Stopped by The Creel last week and grabbed a coffee. Probably the best one you'll get in Westport, no messing. Food looked well too, but I was only passing through. Service was friendly enough, and they've got that covered bit outside which is handy if you've a dog with you. Place was busy, but I didn't wait long.

Been here a few times now. The food's always fresh, which is the main thing for me. I had the salmon salad yesterday, greens were crisp, fish cooked just right. Staff remember me, that's nice. Place gets a bit loud around 7pm, but I still left feeling good about what I ate.

Stopped in for a loaf of the sourdough—proper crust, nice and airy inside. Held up well for a few days too, which is rare. Staff were sound, no fuss. Didn’t try much else, but the bread alone is worth it. Place has that local bakery feel, nothing fancy.

We popped in for the vegan afternoon tea last week. They sorted the menu out for us without any fuss, which I appreciated. The scones were genuinely decent, not dry at all. Sitting by the lake with the castle in the background was a nice touch, though it was a bit busy. Fair enough for the price, I'd say.

The pints were spot on and the food was decent. Staff were friendly enough too. Seats near the window were a bit tight but it's a nice spot to stop in for a quick one.

Fish and chips were alright, nothing special for a coastal place. Chips tasted a bit frozen tbh. Portions okay, not huge. Bathroom was spotless though, fair play. Seating area felt a bit cramped, not the easiest to move around if you've got a buggy or wheelchair. Fine for a quick bite.

Been coming here for a while now, and the Sunday brunch still holds up. Pancakes were fluffy, loads of toppings, and the mini Irish breakfast with coffee included is a solid shout. Not greasy either, which you don't always get. Place gets busy enough, but it's worth it.

The beef was properly tender, not gonna lie. Menu’s got some creative local stuff on it, and the veggie options actually had flavour, which is rare enough. Service was sound, friendly without hovering. Only thing is the place got a bit loud as it filled up, but that’s on me for going at peak time. Wouldn’t mind heading back for that beef again.

Asked them to hold the cinnamon in one dish, allergy thing. Chef sorted it no fuss. Got the lamb stew, proper tender. Sauce had real depth, not that watery stuff. Ate every bit. Good spot if you want straightforward, honest cooking.

The covered outdoor area is a proper bonus, especially when the weather's doing its usual thing. They didn't bat an eye when we showed up with the retriever, even brought out a little pup cup for her. That kind of small gesture goes a long way. Nice spot to just sit and not be rushed.

Loved the vibe here — super clean and modern inside. Portions are massive for what you pay, honestly great for a casual catch-up with friends. Service was quick too. 😊

Stopped in for a coffee and a toasted sandwich—solid choice. The sandwich was decent, though it did get a bit soggy from the oven. Loads of seating even at lunchtime, which was a nice surprise. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.
