The portions are generous and the prices are really fair. I appreciate that the ingredients tasted so fresh, especially in the vegetable dishes. A nice local spot for a simple, wholesome meal.

Booked ahead for dinner after skiing. The Genghis Khan mutton was pretty good, cooked right at the table. The beef and mushrooms were fine too. It's a decent spot, though a bit crowded.

Found this little spot! The agedashi tofu was so soft, and the eggplant miso was delicious. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. We ended up ordering a second round of the eggplant.

Counter seat was perfect for watching the kitchen. The fried rice had a nice, subtle crab flavor. Portions are generous, which I appreciate.

The summer special chestnut shaved ice was so fluffy! The syrup tasted like real chestnuts, not too sweet. Perfect for beating the heat.

The tablet ordering with English menu was a lifesaver. Staff were patient and tried their best to help, even with the language gap. Made the whole process much smoother.

The soba oyaki dumplings have a really nice buckwheat taste. The nozawana pickle inside is super hearty.

A very cozy, traditional spot. The unagi was delicious, and the soba was clearly handmade. I'd love to come back to try their soba and char fish. The only thing is the wooden stools can get a bit hard after sitting for a while.

Been coming here for years. The sashimi platter is always fresh, never had a bad one. That's why I keep coming back.

Found this spot near Hakuba Station in the snow. The stir-fried pork set was simple but tasted really good.

Stumbled upon this place, good parking. Went for the yakiniku set. Meat quality was solid, drinks hit the spot. A bit pricey for the portion, but the vibe was chill. Might try the shabu shabu next time.

The noodles are made in-house. Ordering at the machine is quick and straightforward. A solid, dependable option for lunch.

The kids' meal comes with a toy, which was a nice touch. Staff also brought a small plate for my child.

Hikariya Nishi offers an exquisite dining experience with beautifully presented dishes that highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients. The attention to detail in each course is truly impressive.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The San Daniele pizza is a must-try!

Stumbled upon this spot on a walk. The grilled mackerel was just right—crispy skin, moist inside. A bit pricey, but the cozy wooden interior on a cold night made it worth it.

The sake selection is impressive, and the small plates highlight fresh ingredients nicely. A good spot for a light bite.
