The gambas were fantastic, and the patatas bravas were a nice surprise too. But the main thing for me was the space – it's got a really relaxed, airy feel. You don't feel cramped at all, even when it's busy.

Been coming here for years, and the pasta is always spot on. Had the carbonara last night, creamy but not heavy. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Noticed this restaurant for the last few months and was thinking about trying it out. The food rating was important and google ratings and both were exceptionally high.Booked a table online and went there on the weekend. The menu is varied and not complicated to read, the seating is good and the restaurant is well lit and busy which is a plus. Ordered and food took a while which means its fresh and the presentation was excellent, portions are large so even a small rice can feed two people. Tasty food and pleasant staff who take the time to talk. Will return next month and the cost is acceptable and to me not overpriced. Will recommend the Spare ribs as a starter, excellent.

The lunch menu is a solid deal. The staff were really helpful in picking a wine that went with my pasta.

Xxxxx We visit the Toby Carvery at Bridgend regularly and find it consistent in both quality of food and service which we would rate as very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending this particular restaurant to anyone for both quality of food and service.

They managed our large group booking flawlessly. The pre-order communication was clear and the service never felt rushed, even when busy.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was light and crisp, the chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. That's what I come for.

Midweek carvery deal is a steal. Huge portions, especially the roast beef. Fills you up without emptying the wallet. Solid choice for a quick, filling meal.

Popped in for a pre-match meal before the rugby. It was packed, buzzing with a good crowd. The steak was cooked just right, but the chips were a bit lukewarm. Still, a solid spot for the location.

Been back since they changed the layout, much better. Ordered at the table, service was quick. It was quiet for a Saturday night, which I liked. Food was decent.

The staff were lovely, and they had a nice selection of wines to choose from for our birthday. Made the evening.

The jerk salmon was cooked just right, and the portion was generous. I really appreciated how fresh the salmon tasted. The rice was a nice, simple side.

Amy was so on it with my nut allergy, double-checked everything with the kitchen. Really put my mind at ease. The Sunday roast was huge and tasty, no complaints there!

Booked for 12 and they handled it perfectly. Staff were really friendly, no fuss at all about the nut allergy. Even threw in some honey dough balls on the house. Definitely need to book ahead for a group that size.

Miguel was a gem. He really took the time to explain the menu and his suggestions were spot on. The sunshine bowl was so fresh and colourful. Just a really nice, attentive service that made the evening.

Lovely evening for a birthday. Kasia was a great host, very attentive. The booth seating was comfortable and made it easy to relax.

Staff were great with our group and the wheelchair access. Food arrived quickly, but the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu.

Service was quick and friendly. Staff handled our large group well, no long waits for orders or the bill. Efficient for a business lunch.

Lovely meal once again. Had the chicken for a change, it was beautifully moist and tasty. I always enjoy my meal here. The staff are lovely too and it's good service.

A solid spot for a sunny afternoon. The beer list is decent, and the staff were friendly enough. Could use a few more local craft options on tap though.

Booked our wedding here. Fran the manager was so helpful, and the team set up all our decorations just as we'd hoped.

The three-course set menu is a decent value. Everything we tried was pretty good, and we were seated quickly on a Tuesday evening. The pasta portion was a touch small, but overall a solid choice.

We visited here for Sunday lunch, the carvery was excellent with great choices of meat, which included lamb, Turkey, gammon and beef, all cooked to perfection. Great selection of vegetables, roast potatoes and the best pork crackling I’ve tasted for a a while. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would certainly visit here again.

Been coming here for years. Always appreciate how they keep the place feeling open, even when it's packed.

Grilled fish here is always fresh. Had it again last night, skin was crispy and the flesh just flaked apart. A solid choice on their menu.

Booked a table early after hearing their specials change often. The seasonal veg plate was a standout - simple but with so much flavour. Staff were really helpful explaining the dishes. A couple of the specials were gone by the time we ordered, so glad we got in when we did!

Been coming here for years now. Always get seated quickly, even when it's busy. The staff just seem to know what they're doing, no fuss. It's that kind of reliable service that keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years after our weekend walks. The ales are always spot on, properly kept and consistent pint after pint. That's what keeps me coming back.

The new spot has indoor seating now, which is a plus on a breezy day like today. My fish and chips were just as good as I remember from the old place—crispy batter and proper chips. A solid choice for a classic meal here.

Love popping in here for a bite. The staff are genuinely lovely, which always makes it a nice visit. Had the grilled sea bass last time—cooked just right, skin was super crispy.
