Great spot for a quick lunch. Fish and chips came out fast and hot, perfect when you're short on time. Staff were friendly and efficient. The toilets were a nice bonus, spacious and clean. Just what you need for a speedy bite.

Nice spot for a quiet dinner. The vibe is clean and relaxed, just what we needed. Had the grilled sea bass, which was simple but cooked well. Service was fine, nothing fancy. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but okay for a casual catch-up.

The fish was huge, honestly bigger than my hand. Chips were golden and crisp, just right. A proper portion for the price. It’s the kind of simple, satisfying meal you want after a long walk in the Dales.

Service was prompt even on a Friday night. Staff handled our table of eight well, orders came out quickly. Good for a business dinner or group.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Ordered the fish and chips, came out fast and was decent. Got a table outside easily. Perfect for a quick bite when you're short on time.

Lovely spot for a quiet meal, the harbour views are gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made everything feel so relaxed. Just a note, some of the chairs by the window are a bit low for the tables, but it's a minor thing.

The dog-friendly policy here is a real winner. Brought my spaniel along and they brought him a water bowl straight away. Made for a really relaxed lunch.

Been a few times now, the food's always fresh and spot on. Cocktail list is extensive, which I appreciate. Had a nice Old Fashioned that paired well with the steak. Bit on the pricey side for drinks, but they're well made.

The pub’s under new management and it shows. Had a decent, hearty meal here last week—good value for the portion. The atmosphere was pretty nice, though service was a touch slow.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening really relaxed. They were happy to explain the menu and didn’t rush us at all. It’s nice when service feels genuine and not just a routine.

Food was spot on, really generous portions. The meat dishes were especially good, tender and full of flavour.

Friendly staff, always checking in. The hot chocolate is a real treat on a cold day. Food came out hot, which is a plus. Just a solid, reliable spot.

Great spot for a quick bite. Fillet steak pizzaiola was spot on and came out fast. Good value for the set lunch.

The pancakes were fluffy and the fruit topping tasted so fresh. I really appreciated the birthday candle, it was a thoughtful touch. The ingredients here always feel high quality, which is important to me. A lovely spot for a relaxed breakfast.

Pollo Lemon was spot on, really fresh and zesty. Staff were super friendly, the place is spotless. Just a bit on the pricier side for what it was.

The Panch-Mel Dal and the lamb passanda were spot on. Really good flavour and the lamb was so tender. A definite step up from your average curry house.

The Thai curry was a bit watery for my taste, could've used more punch. My partner's main was really good though, so I'd probably try something else next time.

The portions are huge, honestly. I could barely finish my pasta. Good value for the quality, though the price felt about right for what you get.

Been here a few times with mates. The penne vodka with salmon is always spot on - looks great on the table for sharing too. Staff are really polite. It's just a reliable spot for a catch-up.

The fillet steak is the best in Durham. Ordered it medium rare, and it arrived exactly that way. Tender, good flavour. Prices are fair for what you get.

The paneer bhuna was lovely, really fresh. The wait was a bit long, but the seats were comfortable so it was fine.

Nice spot in an old building downtown. I like that you can see the kitchen. The pizza was good, but honestly, for the price, I expected a bit more on the plate.

The 2-for-£25 deal is solid. Had the steak and fish pie last night. Steak was cooked just right, fish pie creamy and hearty. Portions are decent for the price. Food arrived quickly, which was nice as we were pretty hungry.

The staff were so kind and accommodating. I had a specific request about the wine pairing for my main, and they took the time to discuss it properly. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and considered. A real plus.
