Food is very good, but they didn't have our reservation, left us in a very small table saying there was a reservation for the other one, but no one showed up. Service not so good

Everything was perfect-from the service to the ambiance and mostly the food. Probably the best Tom Yum soup I have ever had. The dishes were large and the flavours were complex a d delicious. If you are in Nijmegen, you have to eat here.

The chicken satay was the star of my lunch—that peanut sauce had a proper spicy kick to it. Plating looked really nice too, almost too pretty to eat. Service moved fast even though the place was busy. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger, I finished everything in like ten minutes 😅

Came for the view of the church from the terrace. Heated benches made it work even in October. Had the bitterballen and a local beer — crispy, not greasy. Service was fine, nothing special. Prices a bit steep for what you get, but you're paying for the location. Would sit outside again.

We enjoyed our evening at this local restaurant on a great corner spot about 10 mins walk from our hotel in the opposite direction to the city centre. Prices were very reasonable and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. Wine and beer were both top notch and for many this is a place for a quality drink rather than a meal. Service was friendly and helpful. No ability to pay with Visa or Mastercard was the main black mark (10 mins walk to an ATM) however we enjoyed our meal and evening overall.

Pizzas had that proper Neapolitan chew, really solid. Just book ahead if you're with a few people, it gets busy.

Totally delicious! The chef must cook with a lot of passion to get such amazing dishes! The ambiance is also very pleasant and the crew efficient and professional. All in all we will come back for sure!

Lovely little café with that vintage vibe. Had a sandwich that was properly good, and the girl behind the counter was really helpful. Place is tiny though, almost felt like sitting in someone's living room.

Dinner was solid. Sea bass cooked right, flaky. Friends had the picanha, juicy. The little note on the bill was a nice touch. Place looks cool inside.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night. Had the ribeye and a glass of red—meat was cooked proper, not overdone. Wine pairing actually matched, which is rare for me to notice. Service was friendly, knew the menu well. Place was a bit empty but that suited me fine. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I'd go back.

Stopped by for a drink and the bartender totally nailed what I like without me having to explain much. Friendly guy, easy to chat with. Ended up staying longer than planned and tried something I wouldn't normally pick. Prices are fair for the portion you get, so no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area.

We had expected a rowdy atmosphere at king's day, but the restaurant was nice and not loud at all 😀. The service was friendly and enthused, and the food original and tasty. Portions were exactly right and less expensive than you would expect for the quality. So all in all a very positive surprise!

The chef’s tasting menu was the move. Every course looked like a small piece of art, and the wine pairings actually made sense. Staff knew their stuff without hovering. Yeah, it’s on the pricier side, but I left feeling like I got what I paid for. Wouldn’t do it every week, but for a proper night out, it delivers.

The setting is atmospheric and historic. The staff was welcoming. We arrived early for our reservation and were easily seated. The meal was of good quality, the bread basket was generous, both meat and fish dishes were delicious. The restaurant was festively decorated for the Christmas holiday.

The fish quality genuinely surprised me for an all-you-can-eat spot. Portions are small, but honestly that works in your favor—lets you sample more without feeling stuffed. I kept going back for the salmon. Just wish they'd pace the grill a bit better, got a little impatient waiting between rounds.

Stopped by for brunch last week. Portions are solid, no complaints there. Terrace was pleasant, not too crowded. They have a small shop inside with postcards and little gifts — picked one up myself. Service was fine, nothing slow or annoying. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Delicious food! One of my favorite places in Nijmegen. Friendly staff and fantastic vegan/veggie options. Love this place.

Tried the 5-course menu. Dry-aged beef was the highlight for sure, really well done. The veggie charcuterie surprised me too. Staff explained every plate, which I liked. Place was a bit quiet for my taste, but food made up for it. Solid spot if you're into tasting menus.

The six-course lunch really impressed me. Each plate looked like art, and the flavors matched the presentation. I went with the wine pairing, and the sommelier nailed it—especially the white they matched with the fish course. Service was attentive without hovering. Took about two hours, but it never felt slow. Just a solid, relaxed afternoon.

The food was solid and the staff friendly enough, but it got pretty loud once every table filled up. Wish they'd taken a moment to walk us through the dishes though.

The wagyu bavette with Frank's peppercorn sauce was the standout — cooked properly, decent portion. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place is small and cozy, service was attentive without hovering. Only thing, it got a bit loud when it filled up. Would go back for that steak though.

Decent spot to catch a game. Staff actually paid attention when I mentioned my intolerance, which was a relief. Had the vegetarian karma kebab - pretty good, maybe the best I've tried so far. Place was a bit noisy but that's expected on match days. Fine for what it is.

The risotto was the highlight for me. I was in town for work and ate alone, but they didn’t make it awkward at all. The dish itself was creamy and rich, easily one of the better ones I’ve had. Service was attentive without hovering. Just a solid spot if you’re on your own and want a proper meal.

Great spot for a proper doppio. The red velvet cake pairs surprisingly well with it, though I'd skip the house wine next time. Just don't count the calories.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the food was the highlight. Each dish had a clear idea behind it, you could tell they put thought into it. We did wait a bit for our drinks though, that was a small bummer. But the vibe was nice for hanging out, would come back to try more things. 😊

Stopped by for a beer and ended up staying way longer than planned. The list is massive, over 200 options, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first. But the guy behind the bar knew his stuff and helped me pick something I actually liked. Didn't try the food, so can't say much about that. Just a solid spot for a drink if you're in the area.

The terrace is nice and green, tucked away in the old city. Cappuccino was solid, and the veggie bruschetta had more flavor than I expected. Lemonade was a bit too sweet for me, but decent overall.

Stumbled on this little place behind the church—super cozy, felt lived-in. Had the homemade apple pie with coffee and honestly, that pie was the highlight. Staff were friendly too. Only thing is it’s a bit small inside, but that’s kinda part of the charm.

The gnocchi with truffle sauce was the highlight for me — soft, rich, and actually creative. Pasta menu has some interesting twists, not the usual boring stuff. Staff were friendly too, place feels cozy inside. Solid pick if you want a relaxed Italian dinner without the fuss. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but I'd go back.

Been coming here for years now, and the salade nicoise is still my go-to. Fish is always fresh, dressing just right. Champagne pours are generous too, maybe a little too easy to keep ordering. Place gets busy around dinner, but the bar area is fine if you're solo. Never had a bad meal here, that's why I keep coming back.
