Theater menu before AFAS was solid — quick service and a proper multi-course meal, not the usual rushed pre-show thing.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. The combination of delicious food and friendly service creates a memorable experience.

Nice salmon sandwich on the terrace, fresh bread and good portion. View of the river was a bonus. Service was fine, nothing special.

The staff clearly put thought into the setup — even the napkin folds matched the occasion. Food was solid, though the pacing felt a bit rushed. Nice spot for a low-key celebration.

The grilled salmon bowl really stood out to me. Fish was fresh, not overcooked, and the quinoa underneath had a nice texture. Portion felt generous for the price, which surprised me a bit. I'd go back just for that dish again. Maybe not the quietest spot for a long chat, but the food made up for it.

Stopped by for a quick bite and the place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Staff was friendly enough. Had the bitterballen, which were fine but nothing special. The rest of the food was decent though. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Came here with nine people, no reservation, and they still squeezed us into the garden. Nice spot, though—felt more private than the main room. They even brought blankets when it got breezy, which I appreciated. Food was decent, but honestly the outdoor seating made it for me. Wouldn't mind coming back just for that.

Good deal on the lunch menu, food was warm and tasty. Simple seating, but fine for a quick bite.

The terrace gets nice sun, good spot to forget the city noise for a bit. Coffee was solid. Pancakes are pricey but tasty, menu's pretty small though.

The cappuccino here is genuinely good, like airport coffee that actually tastes like something. I always try to time my arrival at Eindhoven so I can grab one before my flight. It’s become a little ritual for me, honestly.

Nice terrace right by the cathedral, good for people-watching. Bossche bol was fresh, service quick enough. Prices fair for the location.

The food was decent, but our order took a while and the bill got mixed up. Nothing special, though the ingredients tasted fresh.

Small seafood spot, spotless inside. Staff helped me pick, food came fresh off the grill. Portions fair for the price.

Stopped here after a walk in the park. Coffee was solid and the spot itself is really pretty. Seating’s a bit stiff though, wouldn’t mind staying longer if it were comfier. Nice little find for a quick break.

Decent spot for a casual dinner. We shared a few dishes and the food was pretty good, nothing fancy but solid. Staff were friendly enough, not overly attentive. Location is handy though, close to the old city so easy to walk around after. Maybe slightly busy on a Friday night, but we managed to get a table without waiting too long.

Great terrace with a view of the tower—honestly one of the best spots in Amersfoort. Beer selection is solid too. Perfect for hanging out with friends on a sunny afternoon. 😊

The beef noodle soup was the highlight for me—broth had real depth, and the meat was properly tender. Some of the other dishes leaned a bit salty, but that's pretty standard for this kind of place. Portions were generous too. I'd come back just for that soup, honestly.

The veggie ramen was so good, perfect for a chilly evening 🌿 Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Place felt cozy enough for hanging out with friends.

I highly recommend this place for its delicious ribs and hamburgers. The outdoor seating is pleasant, making it a great spot for a meal.

The ice cream here is really good, huge selection of flavors. We always stop by when in Xanten, even though it's a bit of a drive for us.

Been here a few times now, always with a group. Food's consistent, which is honestly why I keep coming back. Had the ribs again last week, still as good as the first visit. Place gets loud when it's packed, but that's part of the deal. Solid choice if you're organising something with colleagues.

The five-course menu felt properly thought through. Each plate came out looking clean and deliberate, and the portions were honestly generous for the price. Dessert was the quiet highlight though—not overly sweet, just balanced. Only tiny thing: pacing between courses could've been a bit tighter. But I left satisfied.

We’ve been regulars here for years, mostly because the staff never make us feel rushed, even with a kid in tow. Food’s consistent, nothing fancy, but it does the job. Prices are fair for the area. Just note it can get busy around 7, so service slows down a bit. Still, it’s our go-to when we want an easy dinner.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the 3-course set menu is such a solid deal. Portions are pretty generous too, we left totally full. Menu has a ton of options so it took us a while to pick haha. Place got a bit busy later in the evening but that just made it feel lively. Would come back for sure 😊

Stopped here after a hike and the food came out fast, even with a full crowd. Portions were generous, which I appreciated. Sat outside and it was pleasant, just a bit of plane noise overhead now and then. Nothing fancy, but a solid, easy lunch stop. Service was friendly enough, no complaints.
