The grilled octopus was the star — tender, smoky, perfectly salted. Didn't care much about the live music, but that dish alone makes me want to come back.

Small place, maybe 6 tables. Service was quick and friendly. Got the mixed ceviche - solid, fresh, good portion for the price. Decor's simple but has that Peruvian touch. Nothing fancy, but it works.

The live samba here is legit—like, proper Rio energy. We only came for drinks, so I can't say much about the food, but the caipirinhas were strong enough to make me forget the cover charge. Staff were cool, not overly hovering. Just wish the drinks weren't so pricey for the size you get. Fun night out though, if you're okay spending a bit more.

Lamb croquettes were the highlight for sure. Staff knew the menu well and explained everything in English. Falafel was a bit plain though.

The fish was really fresh, melt-in-your-mouth kind of quality. Staff knew their stuff, super professional without being stiff. Prices felt fair for what you get — not a cheap eat, but you're not getting robbed either. Solid spot if you're craving sushi and want it done right.

The omakase really stood out. Sashimi was super fresh, and those salmon cakes over shiitake mushrooms caught me off guard in a good way. Sat on the front patio, nice view of the beach traffic passing by. Nothing fancy, just solid food and a chill spot. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I left satisfied.

Grabbed lunch here during the rush and honestly, the line moved fast. Got the set menu, plenty of options, all the Brazilian classics. Food was well seasoned, no complaints. Solid spot if you need a quick bite and don't wanna wait around all day.

Came here for a quick lunch with a friend and honestly the sandwich was way bigger than I expected 😅 Tasted fresh, service was fast enough for a weekday. Price is a little steep, but sitting inside the Imperial Palace area kinda makes up for it. Would come back if I'm around that side again.

Staff was super patient with my broken Portuguese, really appreciated that. They have English menus too which helped a lot. Made ordering the feijoada much less stressful!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the feijoada. Hit the spot, hearty and full of flavor. Also tried the pudim de leite — really good, nice and creamy. Service was fast, which I appreciated since I was in a rush. Place gets busy around noon, but worth it for a solid meal.

The Mix Chef for two was tasty but honestly some pieces were way too creative for me. Still, decent if you want something different.

Food was solid, right by Sugarloaf. Not a ripoff like most places around there. Had the grilled fish, came out hot and fresh. Place gets busy but whatever. If you're in the area and hungry, it does the job.

The staff here really pays attention. They kept the fresh cuts coming at just the right pace, and were so patient with my requests for leaner pieces. It made focusing on the quality of the meat itself easy and enjoyable.

Decent spot for Lebanese. Hummus was kinda bland, pita not quite right either. But the kafta? Well-seasoned, that saved it. Place is simple, nothing fancy. Service was fine, no complaints. Not the most authentic I've had but it does the job when you're craving it.

Loved the izakaya vibe, felt like a quick trip to Japan. Meat yakitori was solid, but the yakisoba came out a bit salty. Still, good spot for a fast bite.

Standard mall chain, nothing surprising. Food was decent, service quick enough. Free brown bread before the meal was a nice touch. Fine if you're already at the shopping center and need something reliable.

Hidden spot but the food hit home. Got the daily special and it was solid comfort food. Ingredients tasted fresh, price was fair for what you get.

The grilled meats from the barbecue station were the highlight for sure. Prices are fair for what you get. Solid spot for a casual lunch in Petrópolis.

Decent boteco with a lively vibe. The cold octopus was pretty good, fresh and well seasoned. Place gets packed, so be ready to wait a bit.

The octopus was really good—thick and tender, cooked just right. They bring out the fresh seafood so you can see it before they cook it. Portions are generous too.

The Kassler pork chops are the real deal. First time trying them and honestly, I'm already thinking about when I can come back. They were cooked just right, not dry at all. I liked that they weren't too salty either. Just a solid, honest meal.

Good spot for a quick lunch near Ipanema. Buffet style, so you grab what you want. Food was fresh, prices fair. Line moved fast even though it looked long.
